Has anyone tried it on a modern 29" mountain bike wheel without deflating the tires? Is it just me, or do all the reviews appear to be for road wheels?

Yes, I am in possession of a 29" 2. 6 & 29” 2. Both tires are inflated and there are four people in it.

It's the perfect size for two wheels

This bag is exactly what I was looking for to transport two wheels and tires. My disc road wheel and tire (700c x 32mm) fit perfectly in the bag, as did my wife's larger tire and disc wheel (700c x 50mm). Material is of good quality, as is the zipper. I would recommend this wheel bag to anyone looking for one.

This is fantastic! My Mtb 27 was able to fit in there. 5 x 2. With plenty of room for 30 Maxxis Aggressor Tires. And the wheels are separated by a removable middle insert that clips inside the bag!.

I needed a bag for my 29'er wheels, and with two of them, I needed something big. There was still room inside the bag with two tires mounted on the wheels, and the carrying strap and handles are ideal for transporting the bag as well as hanging it up out of the way.
