The bells on this bike are awesome! The residents of a mobile home park where we live often walk two or three abreast, often crossing the roadways

They cannot hear bicyclists approaching because they are too far away. Using these bells, we only have to raise them a couple of times for the walkers to know we're approaching and move right out of the road. The handlebar mount is compact, so it fits on a handlebar easily. What makes it the best is how loud it is! You are not warning the biker/pedestrian with a wimpy "ding" that will not convince them, but rather with a nice loud chime. And the price is very reasonable.

Installed these on both a road bike and a mountain bike. The road bike install installed without any issues. But when I tightened the clamp for the mountain bike install, it didn't work unless I pushed on the outer plastic ring around the bell. In the case of a metal bell, the sound is muffled if the outer ring touches the metal bell. After installing the bells, I have gone on a couple bicycle rides. At this point, we'll have to see how long they last, but so far they seem to be working well.
