It hangs on the bell. I found it to be very useful as I was hanging my Gremlin Bell. A bell should be included with every gift. Observing the decline in Gremlins attached to my bike since mine was installed, I am convinced that my bike is wearing a much better defense.
The same parts have been sold in bike shops for 2-3 times as much as these do. As a treasured item, I like that I can bolt it to my back and that it comes with a ring just the right size to loop around the bell. Additionally, you can position it to your liking, since the metal is thick enough to accommodate it.
This should really come with every Guardian Bell, if you ask me. In its absence, I am not sure how I would have mounted the bell.
The gift was purchased for someone else. We received the package on time. There are no issues with the product. You can see the guardian bell nicely displayed on the Harley Davidson. One of the orders was for a key ring that was not included with the purchase of the guardian bell. The other order was for an item that was from two different merchants.
