Questions & Answers
Yes, they do have a bit of wiggle room.
Because the socks run small, but wool stretches out over time, and kids grow quickly, I'll order two sizes larger?
On the inside, the toe seams are flat and unnoticeable. LOVE IT

They look great; the only reason I didn't give them a five-star rating is because I had to guess on size because I couldn't find my answer in the FAQs or in the product description. However, a size chart is included in the package, so here it is.
GENERAL: They're well-made, with a thick, warm feel to them. Unless you buy them with thick socks in mind, I don't think they'll fit in most shoes. They won't fit in my kids' casual shoes, but they'll fit in their snow and rain boots just fine. BR>BR>SIZE: BR>BR>SIZE: BR>BR>SIZE: BR>BR>S I purchased a large for each of my children. One is a size 11 and the other is a size 13. They fit my youngest perfectly and my oldest perfectly with the heel in the proper place. The large should fit three people, according to the package. Unless they're talking about three. I have my doubts about the upper end of that range (six years), which would be unusual. If you want something that will last, go up a size, and if your child is a size 12 or larger, get a large.
Bought for my two-year-old, who wears a size eight. For sizes 9 to 12, I ordered a small. 5 so she has room to grow, and they fit her perfectly! So I don't think she'll get much use out of them before I have to buy new ones. Quality is excellent. It would be nice if they were a little softer. They're quite substantial! This would be ideal for the colder months. I bought them for summer hiking and will get thinner ones next time because they were much thicker than I expected. Keep in mind that if your child's shoes are too tight, they may not fit properly in the shoe. They are difficult to put on her, but once on she seems to like them. They are snug, but not too tight. Her feet are dripping with sweat, and these appear to be absorbing some of it. Her feet are still wet, but not to the extent that they would be if she wore regular socks. Blisters are avoided by wearing them. I'd buy it again, but I'd size up.
What a fantastically designed sock! It's extremely thick, with an inner layer that looks like puffy wool in a fabric and a well-made exterior. I was a little wary of these socks because the brand wasn't one I was familiar with, but I'd buy them again in a heartbeat. I like to think of myself as fussy and frugal, and these are a STEAL for the price! Only Bombas when they're in stock for the kids are better. My daughter's boots were damp from sweating when I removed them, and I could tell the sock was wicking away the sweat and keeping her cool. As a result, I am confident that they did an excellent job. When it comes to wool socks, I tell everyone. If at all possible, avoid using the dryer. It degrades their softness and plushness, as well as their ability to perform as well as they did when you first received them. They dry quickly as well. I hope this information is useful.
Before buying these socks, I did some research online about different types of socks. They were reasonably priced and extremely comfortable. They are thick, bulky, and sizing is a little on the small side.
I'm not sure how many stars this product deserves. Is it warm? Many reviewers claim it is, which makes sense because it's wool and thick as hell, but after four hours of outdoor preschool, my child's feet are cold. I guess it's comfortable because he doesn't complain about it. It makes me feel at ease. How thick should it be? You can bet it's as thick as a brick. My REI hiking socks are thicker than these. My son is a size 10 and wears these in Bogs size 11 for a tight fit. br>br>These socks have a lot of inconsistency in terms of sizing. I bought a pair of blue ones in an xs, but they were too small for my son's feet, so I exchanged them for a small, which fit perfectly. I decided to order a size small in green this time, but they did not fit as well as the blue ones. I even dried it after washing it, and they remained large. The blue socks appear to run small, whereas the greens appear to be more true to size. br>br>I'll continue my search for other socks.
On our trip to Sequoia, they thought they were so cozy in their hiking boots. Because the socks have a wool interior lining, I was concerned that they would be too warm to wear in the summer, but it appears that this did not bother my children. They claimed that it didn't make them feel warm in the least. So, based on the feedback from my children, these socks are fantastic!.
The same as the more expensive versions. They are excellent value for money. The color is pleasing to my granddaughter. The prices are the best, and I'll be back for more for the rest of my family. They're identical to the ones sold at LL Bean and other sporting goods stores, and we've had plenty of those as a result of living close to one. I usually get them from that factory store, but they're so expensive, so I'm glad I found these. I was concerned that many of the other children's wool socks on Amazon, which aren't merino, would itch. If you don't have any (I didn't see any), I'd like to see some thinner merino Sox for kids, as they usually wear boots to school but sneakers all day, necessitating a shoe weight wool sock. There are also more colors!.
