I'm a size 5 or 5 in adult clothing. 5 shoe. What is the best child size for me?

My shoe size ranges from 7 to 7. Although I wear a size 5 women's shoe, my feet are extremely thin. I like the boy's size. In my hiking boots, they're snug enough that they don't move around (no rubbing blisters).

If it's a wool blend, does anyone know what it's made of, or is it like Spam in that we have no idea what's inside?

According to Darn Tough's website, these socks are made of Merino Wool, which is what my friend told me when she recommended them. All I can say is that I tried them on and loved them so much that I went back and bought three more pairs for all of my outdoor activities (hiking, biking, and running). And I'm thinking about getting a few more pairs as my other (non-Darn Tough) socks wear out. Note: Alpaca socks are something I've experimented with. They're soft and comfortable, but they're not as long-lasting as these socks.

What are these dreadful socks for a size 7 1/2 shoe?

To find my answers, I usually go to the Darn Tough website and look at their children's sizing. For a size 6, we purchased the KIDS size Large. They're great socks for women's shoe sizes 5 to 7, and I've worn them on a 26-mile hike with no problems.

Is there a size chart available? My granddaughter wears a size 5 hiking boot for girls. I'm not sure what size socks I'd need. ?

I believe that a size large in children's shoes corresponds to a 3-inch shoe size. I'd probably go with a small for women.
