They have held up well in salt water after I used them for anchor extension lines in my kayak a few times now. A quick update Here is what has happened a year later I have been using these clips for years with constant salt water exposure, and they have never rusted.
I had to trim just a little on the inside of the clip just to align the wire gate with the end. was difficult to remove since it tended to fix on my belt loop when removed. A little more time was spent on the Dremel than I had anticipated. The stainless steel has a very hard texture. A nice clip all in all.
These seem to be strong and well made. These are very strong in springs, as are some of the reviews I have read. The caveats are not enough to stop me from using them, but depending on what you'll be doing with them, they might be a little much to deal.
I ordered these small, and they're very well made. The size was just what I needed. This is a very strong statement. Despite the shortening of the spring, it feels like it would last forever. It is hard to find carabiners that are strong, high-quality, cheap, and easy to use. Those are the ones you are looking for.
How it can be used to build a relationship Using the down windlass line on a 43-foot boat In a saltwater environment, a 30 ft Trawler. I was very satisfied with the size and the quality of the spring clips. There is also a great price on 316 stainless steel.
The spring is tight. The only criticism is that the spring is too tight for normal practical use. Overall, this is a great product.
The weight, feel, and finish of this product are good. The materials are tough and have stood up to rough, saltwater environments.
I strongly recommend them.
