In addition, the Palmer hand ascender is a tool specially designed to assist climbers in ascending ropes, perfect for rock climbing, tree climbing, arborist work, or any other ascent activity.

As a result of the ergonomic design, it has a large, comfortable handle to hold onto and can be installed with one hand. It can also easily be installed on rope from 8 to 12mm.

Ascents are smooth with climbing ascenders, but the cams provide strong hold when weights are added. Furthermore, the rope cam can be used for dirty, muddy or icy ropes to hold on to.

Once you are at the height you need with the ascender or are ready to descend, it is easy to put it away.

The 8mm version works well

A 8 is a good score for me. A rope with a diameter of 3mm. The work on it goes well. We used it to ascend the rope a few times. Ascenders made by a name brand work much more smoothly for allowing the rope to slide through with your bottom hand and slack rope.

It's okay that these ascenders are available. Probably not the most expensive, but they get the job done well and are sturdy and secure in the process.

The jumars are still alive, which means they do not appear to be in danger. I haven't tested them on icy ropes, but I believe there shouldn't be any problem.

A cheap price

Worked fine for me again. The price is very reasonable and the product is very good. In my opinion, I don't feel the need to spend extra money on a high-end hand assender since my primary method of tracking progress is a Gri Gri.
