Safe Rubber Safety Catch - Stay in control, no more slipping! With solid rubber safety catch instead of metal material, the knob of the cam system can easily be operated by thumb rather than metal or plastic. You can still control what you are doing, despite thick gloves, due to the increase in friction.

Handle molded from thermoplastic rubber for ergonomic comfort! We know that the right grip produces the highest level of force efficiency. With the ergonomic thermo-molded rubber handles and their ample interior space, it is lightweight and at the same time extremely comfortable to climb for long periods of time without feeling fatigued.

This is a powerful stainless steel cam! An ice or wet condition does not interfere with the operation of the function cam, since it is made from stainless steel. A powerful material makes cam capable of handling most situations and staying up to date for longer periods of time.

I would like to know if these work on Does it measure 7 millimeters?

It can be used on ropes up to 1/2 inch diameter.

Will it fit both my hands or do I need to get a left and right pair?

You can choose to be right or left Despite appearing to be a single ascender in the picture, they are actually distinct. This works very well for them. Petzl is the brand I prefer, though.

Is it possible to order an ascender for the right hand? In one case it says both left and right hand, but when you check out it says only left hand. ?

How much would it be possible for this unit to safely work with a load of 140kg with all the gear I have on? I am about 142kg with everything on and this would be too much?

A load of 800 pounds can be handled by it On a "fall", I think that is 900 pounds, or 362 kg. A weight of 142kg is not concerning to me.

Comparable to name brands, but at a cheaper price

The frog system will be used for caving, so I intend to use them. The first time I showcased these and told my rope sport communities that they weren't a name brand, they were all skeptical. This made me doubt the whole thing After using them in my practice runs, I was able to use them in real life with no problem. Repelled into about a 200 ft pit that was divided into three sections of about 40 ft, 60 ft, and 100 ft drops. have used a friend's petzl ascender in the past and these are just as good as that. It was actually easier to thumb these than the Petzl. There was no slipping on my part, nor did I encounter any reason to doubt them. A seamless and fluid movement of the ascenders was evident. Although I have no idea how long they will last, from what I can tell they will be a reliable investment. In my opinion, this product is a great.

The design is good and the parts are of good quality. The take-up of the new system has been smooth. It's only the teeth that are problematic. My experience is insufficient to judge whether they will chew up the line. Therefore, I will wait until I have more experience to evaluate them. It will be a workout for me and it since I weigh over 200 pounds.

It's great to have ascenders like these. After rappelling down, I decided to purchase these ascenders so I can mix things up a little when I am ascending down the rope. I have found that ascending up the rope after rappelling down is challenging and fun. This is an attractive, secure, and not overly bulky pair of glasses.

This is a great program! I received exactly what I was promised! Used the product for only a few hours, both rappelling and ascending. A 5mm hole). No problems were encountered while I was writing this.

It is easy to use, but it takes some practice

I used it to put up a half dome to the Washington Column. A bit of practice is required to master the release mechanism because the metal can be tricky to hold on to however, you eventually get the hang of it. All the work was done as expected, and the pricing was good.

Despite this, they do not work well when they are being removed from the rope because the sharp points in the grabbing cams snag the rope when you're trying to remove them
