This easy-to-use, waterproof bag My kids and I spent several days outside this spring using a clean blanket, which has proven to be an excellent choice for use outdoors. It's great because it can be staked down and isn't going anywhere. The stakes can be stored in the pocket when they are not in use. It folds up quickly and neatly, making it simple to store and transport; my favorite part is the cleanup; all you have to do is sweep away grass or sand, which is incredibly simple.
What I like best about it is that it comes with a zipped storage bag where you can store your phone or wallet, and the blanket has four loops through which you can insert the provided pegs to keep it from blowing away in the wind. It comes highly recommended!.
Yes, it's simple to get rid of, but so is a blanket. I wouldn't call it waterproof because the sand just sticks to the tarp like a blanket. I took it to Tahoe, and the sand's heat burned it so badly that you couldn't sit or stand on it without a towel or blanket on top of it. Too many times I had to shake the sand out of my hair. It didn't work for me, and I'd rather just use a blanket instead. It took a lot of squeezing to get it back into the very small bag. You'd think the company would make the bag a little bigger because, unless you don't have kids, you don't have time to triple fold everything back into the bag. I'd recommend investing in a large picnic blanket because it would be much more practical.
I believe the term "beach blanket" is misleading. The fabric is more akin to that found in/on a tent. Despite this, it can still carry out the tasks I set out for it. The size is ideal for large groups, and if you want to put your beach towel on top, the sand will be kept off by this mat. Sand or water will not stick or absorb due to the material. Although it was not exactly what I had hoped for, it was still an excellent product.
I bought it for my upcoming beach trip over the weekend, and boy is it a lifesaver. We no longer had to deal with Sandy towels; instead, we simply laid down the blanket, using the plastic stakes to secure it, then placed our bags and cool on the blanket's corner to secure it even more. It was simple to set up, and there was no risk of the wind blowing our blanket away. br>br>At first, the blanket was hot when we laid it down on the sand, but after 5 minutes, the heat dissipated, and we were able to lay down on it without any problems. The blanket is thin, so it might not be as comfortable for some, but I always bring a towel to lay on, so it wasn't an issue for me. We ate our lunch on the blanket after some time had passed, and any water spills simply dried out rather than soaking into the blanket. br>br>At the end of the day, we had some sand on the blanket due to people getting sand on their towels, but when it was time to pack up, we just slid the sand right off with no problems because sand does not go through the blanket, unlike mesh blankets where it can fall through. br>It was simple to fold with just one other person, as the fold could be a two-man job if the wind is blowing constantly. br>br>Overall, it was simple to use and set up, exactly as advertised. I had no tears or wear issues with this product.
This was a lifesaver when I bought it for a beach vacation. Unlike a beach towel, this one is large enough to accommodate multiple people and can be tethered to keep it from blowing away. Of course, sand gets on it, but it's a lot easier to get off than a towel. The fabric is light and tarp-compatible. like, which is good for sand and doesn't retain heat. The best part is that shaking it out only takes a few seconds. It's simple to locate, or simply stuff it into the carrying bag and you're ready to go.
This beach blanket was fantastic and well worth the money! We used it every day at the beach because the sand was easy to brush off and it kept the sand moist! To some extent, it is sand proof. We were on the beach with wet sand that stayed on top of the blanket until it dried, then sank through it once it was dry. I'd buy it again, and our beach companions are getting one, too!.
It even comes with four steaks to keep it tethered to the ground. My daughters are looking forward to taking it on picnics with them. Our car has a storage compartment, and that's where we keep it so we'll always have something to sit on outside if we need it. It's huge; I like how big it can get while still being able to fold into a small space, and it comes with its own carry pouch so you won't lose it. Perfection was used to make this!.
