This blanket is huge and covered a lot of cloth on the grass, so I'm glad I purchased it in time to use this weekend for our picnic. I'm glad the weather is warming up where I live. It was perfect for the beach! We enjoyed taking it with us! It was a great size! For my purchase, I decided to go with the biggest size possible. With 3 kids, even though I'm 5'10" and my husband is 6'4", there was still plenty of room for us. Those tents fit perfectly under the easy pop up tents in a normal position. A parachute is made of this There are essentially only two down sides of this setup for me 1) On windy days at the beach all hands must be on deck to stake it down. The hard plastic stakes that come with it are a joke only 4 come with it. We have a beach that is 5 inches long and not working. It worked perfectly and we had extra tent stakes from our easy up so that helped. Again, it's just a cover, not made for comfort. Waterproof yes, we had a kid spill a drink and the water beaded up. Easy to wipe down. Sand will still get on it of course, but it can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. I washed it after using it twice and it is still in good condition.
