Even when other people are comfortable, I always suffer from painfully cold hands and feet. When I have to be outdoors in a cold climate, should I wear a warm jacket? I can't get my toes to stop hurting almost unbearably, no matter what number of socks or boots I wear. On one cold night in winter, my husband needed my help to resolve an urgent situation outside. We were sitting on a porch at 25°. With my down jacket on, I was warm enough, but within 30 minutes my toes hurt like normal. A pair of these I had picked up to give a try occurred to me as I walked. Once I put them on, I noticed that I felt better in less than five minutes It took less than ten minutes before my toes had not only defrosted, but were Outside, they kept my toes warm for another hour and a half, then I left them on all night, and my toes felt great. They have lasted me about 6 hours when I needed them during the day, but they still provide a little warmth for another couple of hours There are now four hours past that time. They still felt cold, but they weren't as cold as they had been previously. My boots did not shift at all when I walked two miles in them. I found these to be really effective at staying warm, and they made a huge difference. It would be better if the adhesion was stronger. When trying to slip my foot into my shoe, I found it difficult to keep them on my socks.
