Questions & Answers

Are the 2. included in the 2. What is the difference between a spigot and a spout on a 5gal Aqua Pak?

The spigot is there. It is possible to leave the spigots out during a very cold snap for an extended period of time. I'm not sure if 2 1/2 gallons is enough. For those of us who are not as vigorous as we were during our "five-gallon years", a smaller bottle is much better As long as the inverted spigot is in place, it will protect/cover it until you get ready to open, install, and use it.

How big is the inner diameter of the filler opening after the filler cap is removed? I appreciate it. ?

Exactly what I was looking for.

Which dimensions does this object have?

About nine inches wide and about three inches high. This poster measures 25 inches by 7 inches. A 5x12" sheet of paper.

We plan to camp in a pop-up camper. Is there a spout that allows us to quickly pour water? Or can you just turn the spigot on and off?

Since you can pour water out of a 2-inch container by removing the 2-inch cap, you can put water into it by removing the 2-inch You can also install this very handy valve which allows you to dispense water by turning the I think this is a fantastic

The 1-is not working for me Those reviews have a 2-star rating
5/5

It's really hard for me to understand the concept of A star rating of about 2 is good. In my opinion, this is a super product, I have a friend who has the same thing, a 7 gallon one, so I was already familiar with the design and found it to be as reliable as I had hoped. It has to be said that because of the 1 - I hesitated getting it Despite the 2 star reviews, I ordered it anyway and I have found ways to address the most common arguments. It leaks out of the spout when I first used it. . It had been working fine until I noticed I had overtightened the spout to To tighten it down I undid the screw and snugged it Putting it back into position, I tipped it over. There were some drips to be seen. As soon as the drips stopped, I tightened it. There's a small opening for letting air in to displace the water running out from the plug. "It leaks from the plug" The problem has been solved. When not in use, it has a stopper to prevent bugs and crud from building up. In any case, this opening is NEVER prone to leak unless you lay the tank on its side when it is The use of which is not recommended. There is nothing wrong with the plug - just leave it there Five year olds can pull out and push in a small plug to get air when they need it THIS IS NOT A VALE and IS NOT intended to withstand the pressure of the water surrounding the tank if it is placed on its side. It was not designed to do that! Stop trying to make it do it! Be sure to keep the valve and the plug upright while transporting the tank. Solved. "It looks like plastic inside. " Yeah, that's because it does smell like plastic inside. You first get it when it's factory fresh, so I suppose it's brand new. In order to get it to "off-season," I let mine sit on the shelf for a couple of weeks There is a gas The plastic has no odor and a non-existent taste.

"The plastic you're using It is thinner on the smaller sizes. " or "The plastic is thinner on the bigger sizes. ". Among the criticisms I received when I ordered the book, this is the one that concerned me the most Imagining him bulging and super thin, I imagined him to look like a milk jug. That is certainly not the case. As far as thickness is concerned, it's more than sufficient The 5-gallon version is just a tad thinner than the 8-gallon model. A second point to consider is this Moreover, I would like to point out that A smaller model does not have as much bulk as a larger version - this is no surprise. Overkill would be the best word. The 7 gallon tank has to support 58 pounds, but the 2 gallon tank has to carry 88 pounds. You can have it for The plastic is thick and looks very good. Overall, this is an excellent product at a great value.

We are on the lookout These containers were purchased in four quantities and I intend to replace them
3/5

It has some useful features, but I prefer to use it in my environment due to its negative aspects. The pros are A convenient form factor * Translucent walls * A wide opening to refill the bottle *The following cons In my opinion, the problem with spouts is that they are the source of irritation. From the product information, it doesn't seem obvious that you HAVE to keep them within Had I known the spouts were on the containers, I would not have purchased them. When taken out they catch water and require more washing.
The product dimensions are for empty cans. In filling, the wall puffs up under the weight of the water and changes the depth by about a quarter inch. The container must be emptied for dry storage, but it is very difficult to do. It is impossible for either opening to be the lowest point in any position, so some water will remain in the container until it evaporates. **The air-conditioning system is a very efficient system. There is a hole in the center of the lid that is poorly made, and will leak when the container is placed on the side without extra precaution. There is a problem with stackability advertised Empty containers roll together when they are full, but when they are full, the containers wobble.

It's a good size, but the plastic is way too thin
3/5

In a situation requiring a critical size, I found these to be useful. Their 7 gallon narrow containers fit nicely into our old camper van, but they do not fit well into our new one. You can choose from these two. I did not notice any differences between 5G and 7G ones. The first time we used them last summer for camping for about 8 weeks, the second time they slipped. This summer after another 3 weeks, one of them started leaking again. There have been some wear and tear on the bottom where it sits on concrete, gravel or a picnic table, wherever it is. Boondocking did not give me the option to return the vehicle or receive replacement parts, so I made a provisional repair. I knew where we were going to get another when we got out of the boonies since there would be no way of repairing this type of plastic. I used the bottom of the worn-out one as a protective "shoe" on the replacement. Once we received our replacement, I cut the worn-out one off and glued it onto the replacement. It should help the other one last longer, but I ended up having to buy two to find one that was durable enough. I really appreciate your efforts THERE IS RELIABILITY It is necessary for the plastic to be thicker. I have used other Reliant products and have always been satisfied with the durability of the product itself. You can read part 2 here. It is true that the 5 gallon one is almost as expensive at the larger 7 gallon jugs, but in terms of quality, it does not even come close to the 7 gal container. The ones you are looking at If Reliant is not able to afford enough plastic to make it durable at $14, then I hope they will spend a few cents more on enough plastic at the bottom and just raise the price. You should charge us a dollar more and let 'em last longer! It is a hassle to "rely" on your water container and have it break down when you need it the most.
