That is true, the flap closes It is difficult to open almost all the way.
I don't think it does. There is an inch of spacing between the Yeti 5 gallon and most of its counterparts
There is no way for me to answer that. This is being used on a Lowe's 5 gallon bucket and it fits perfectly.
You can actually fold the lid down and snap it into place on top of the seat.

As a result of reading other reviews, I was skeptical, but I found this product to perform well. I also use a Home Depot 5-gallon bucket for this project.
A few weeks ago, I bought this toilet seat so that I could use it while back country car camping in North Carolina. There were no other humans for miles, and we did not have access to any kind of bath facilities during our five days in the woods. There is a 5-star rating on this toilet seat I used a Lowe's gallon bucket for the purpose for which I intended it. To use with it, I bought a couple of Toilet Kits from Go Anywhere. My solution was to drop the toilet bag in the bucket, snap on the lid, use as needed, remove the bag, place it in the outer bag provided, and toss it in the trash (both bags were My portacabin was situated in the middle of the yard It was nice and private in the pop-up tent where I went to the bathroom. There is only one negative thing I can say about it, and it is not in any way wrong, but it creates a vacuum when your bum touches the seat. In other words, when you lift your bum to wipe, you break the vacuum seal and get a weird rush of air flowing into parts that don't normally receive During the first couple of times, I freaked out thinking a snake or some other creepy thing had crawled into the bucket and gotten in It gave me an expectation to expect it in the future. Although some of you take everything so seriously, I think I should bring it up for the sake of fun. We rate this as a 5 It's an awesome product that has made my life easier without restroom facilities.
I use this to camp in my pop-up camper in the middle of the A bucket filled with 7-gallon water can be attached to it and my toilet is ready. Leaving the house in the dark at 2am is no longer an option.
I bought a 5 gallon utility bucket at my local hardware store, and this seat fit perfectly. A groove on the underside of the seat allows it to fit over the rim of the bucket, and it fitted right in.
We were pleased to discover that this toilet seat cover snaps on to one of our 5 in 1 toilet seats from Home Depot Buckets are very securely fastened to this wall! This clamp could not be snapped up on the bucket we bought from Lowe's. As it snaps on pretty tightly over the Let's Do It bucket, I was concerned that it may not come off easily enough once the bucket is filled with liquids and needs to be emptied, but I now have it figured out. Using it I discovered that it will easily unsnap, if it is snapped into place over a point where the handle meets the side of the bucket so that the stronger hinged part extends over that point. As a result, I can grab the handle with one hand and hold the bucket in place while I pull up on the more sturdy hinge on the seat with the other hand. The cover can be easily removed with a little effort, but I like the way it fits the bucket so snugly and how tight it fits over the bench to prevent odors from escaping most of the time. We, both on the smaller side, find the seat comfortable and it is thick enough to be sturdy. However, its size is not appropriate for It would be impossible for me to weigh more than 175 pounds. It's about a 4 or 5 or so, so I'm not sure how much I would rate it. In addition to being sturdy, the seat is rather narrow, so it may not be very comfortable for people who weigh a lot or who are significantly larger.
Even though it seems comfortable for us to use, I am still not sure I would want to use it for more than a week due to the hassle of continuously cleaning the bucket. The idea of switching it on and off daily could easily become quite tedious for me. In spite of that, it's well worth what we paid for it (about $20) to have on hand when we're traveling or hiking long trails and there are no restrooms available along the way. This purchase was satisfactory to me, and I was very pleased that the Seller shipped it faster than promised and with excellent packaging. If the seat was not that thick, I would be reluctant to apply such a great deal of pressure to it without the force pad. The couch is thick enough not to bend or lose its shape even when sat on, and it appears strong enough to handle some If it were a real toilet and a bucket, I would not be comfortable using that for more than a couple of days, since it would take a lot of effort to keep it clean, even if I used a kitty litter with pine-scented.
The following changes have been made I just used it on a four day camping trip and it was great! Hands down, this is the best purchase I have made for a camp! It arrived five days before expected for the camping chair we ordered. As a result of reading the reviews, I am planning to purchase a 5 gallon bucket from Home Depot. We found the cost very reasonable! In the near future, we hope to give our camping people litter box a try.
In anticipation of an earthquake, I wanted to use this as a car potty in order to avoid my kid and I using germy public restrooms. The 3 was purchased. The Outdoor Supply Hardware stores have 5 gallon buckets. My understanding of how to do it took some time to develop. It has been determined that the interior ring of the seat fits outside of the bucket completely. We are very pleased with the service. I put a 10 gallon garbage bag inside, squeezed out the air, and snapped on the seat. The litter will be used in the inside of the barrel. As I sat in it in the trunk of my Subaru, I could open the hatch. Use an old sheet, some magnets and some magnets to make a curtain to cover the trunk when it is opened. Depending on how we felt about the trunk, it might even fit behind the front seat if we didn't want to open it up. This will be kept in my car for extended trips, and in case of an earthquake, I will have it at hand. Even so, if nature potty's on a trip were an option that was decent and not too out of the way, that would be more However, if you are on the road without access to a suitable outside pee spot, this is the perfect solution.
This is a very portable device. We recently had problems with broken sewer lines at my father's house It's the law. Setting one of these up was not difficult or costly. It took a few days to correct. The need for a personal one was too great!.
