Three AA batteries are required. I've only used it twice while camping (for a total of two hours each night) and have yet to replace the batteries.
I use rechargeable AA batteries, which require three of them.
They stand 5 inches tall when the handles are down, 7 1/2 inches tall when the handles are up, and 7 inches tall with the light on. 2 1/2 inches are added when the handles are raised. The diameter is slightly more than 3 1/4 inches.
LEDs are used in these. br>The average life expectancy of LEDs is 50 000 hours. This should be 13 if you use your lights 10 hours per day. 7 yrs. If this is the case, LEDs are unquestionably a good investment; even the most expensive bulb would cost around $2. The annual cost is 55GBP. When you factor in the energy savings, you've got yourself a very cost-effective bulb.

Etekcity Camping Laterns is a game that pits MalloMe against Etekcity Camping Laterns. I got these MallowMe Camping Lanterns (4x) and these MallowMe Camping Lanterns (4x).
These are fantastic. When they are at their most effective. I ordered six boxes, and five of the twenty-four lanterns were defective. Fortunately for me, my husband is extremely handy, and after dismantling them twice, he was able to figure out what was wrong with them and repair them all. The green ones all needed the positive end of the battery terminal pried out so they could reach the batteries and make proper contact. It's a simple fix, but it's not very nice if you don't have a handyman on hand. Place a knife behind the terminal on the end with extra ribs, and carefully pry it out a little bit. We've fixed all of ours, and they're now fully functional.
Isn't it true that bigger is better? In terms of camping, however, we haven't learned much. br>br>As much as it pains me to replace things we already own with lighter, smaller, and more efficient versions, I've started doing so. I spent about a week researching and comparing different lanterns before deciding to purchase these MalloMe lanterns. They were quick to arrive. br>br> (Though packaging isn't a major factor, a company that doesn't put effort into their packaging is likely to put little effort into their product. )br>br>As for the product, I really like these! They are extremely light without appearing to be cheap. The LEDs are bright, but they're diffused with a "globe" to avoid being as harsh as most compact LEDs. They take up almost no space. br>br> which is perfect for a camping trip. br>br>I used Panasonic rechargeable batteries to test them. They start bright and stay bright for 20 hours (though noticeably dimmer), indicating that the LEDs perform well without consuming a lot of energy. This is perfect for camping once again. br>br>I haven't tested them for water resistance, but I don't plan on wearing them outside in the rain, so I don't think it matters. br>br>In conclusion, I like these little guys a lot, especially for the price of four for around $20. br>br>(I'm just a regular ol' shopper. ) For my review, I received neither a product nor a discount.
These were purchased in fours; the red and purple set, as well as the blue and green set, which included all four laterns' batteries! Because we've been having a lot of thunderstorms lately, we've been losing a lot of power. That's not so bad, except it seems to happen while I'm sleeping, and I wake up suffocated by my CPAP machine! There's no way I can roll over and go back to sleep! I can't just sit in the dark and do nothing, so I have to do something. So I went ahead and started reading. Normal flashlights, on the other hand, aren't up to the task. They fade far too quickly, and let's face it, they don't last very long. It's difficult to hold them or get them off the table. So I started looking for it. I began reading reviews as soon as I discovered these. They were INCREDIBLY good! As a result, I decided to take a risk. I'm so happy I did! These are not large lamps that are difficult to transport or store. They are extremely bright, allowing for comfortable reading! I adore how you can open them all the way for more light or just a smidgeon for less. They are turned off when they are slid all the way down. It's really cool! And the owner, Mr. Houston, sent me a thank-you email with a fantastic little ebook that showed you how to build the perfect campfire and included some fantastic campfire recipes! That is OUTSTANDING customer service, and I am OVERJOYED!.
