I had a large electric lantern made by Colman. It made use of D cells. Because there are so many blackouts, I gave it to a tenant (Gavin Newsom). This replacement lantern is half the weight and half the size of the original, but it produces twice the amount of light. I've brought flashlights with me. This is a simple plant that can be placed in the living room to provide ample lighting. I have reading lights that work well with my photography lights. Reading could also be done with this lantern. It's adequate in terms of illumination.

If you need a power bank, bring one with you. This is a fantastic small lantern. For a two-week camping trip, we took it with us. It was bright enough when we needed it to be bright, but dimmable to the perfect level for the ambiance we wanted to create on our night trip. With just one of these hanging from a branch above the picnic table at our campsite, we left it on from dusk until we went to sleep, played card games, ate dinner, cooked, and so on. br>br>We also brought a string of two LED USB lights that we powered using the power bank capability, but they only lasted the first night. The lantern, strangely enough, was still going strong, but it couldn't power a USB device for some reason. br>br>So, if you need a USB battery bank, just get one. I don't believe this will have a double-effect. duty. br>br>However, if you're looking for a small camping lantern, this is a good option.

I had the product for a few days to test it out. The goal is to see how well this led lantern performs when camping or in an emergency. br>br>The first test began with a fully charged device. It was delivered to you ready to use. charged My primary concern is the longevity and output of LEDs. The test was started with all of the output turned on. The lumens are both bright and consistent. On the light spectrum (yellow vs white vs bluish), it's comparable to a 65 watt florescent light, but with a cleaner white output. It lasted about three minutes. The second test was for the low output test, which was where this lantern really shone!br>br>Full recharge from full depletion takes 7 hours. br>br>The third test was for the high output test, which was where this lantern really shone! (It's a pun, of course. ) The lantern lasted an incredible 55 hours on low power, despite the fact that it lacks a low voltage shut-off feature or a low voltage regulator. Around the 30 hour mark, the output lumens began to drop. It continued to deteriorate over time, eventually shutting down 25 hours later. br>br>While the power bank option works, I wouldn't recommend it if there are other power options. It charged my Pixel 4a and a small portable speaker just fine from full depletion to charge just fine but it took approximately a 85% power drain to do so and did% br>br>Overall, a fantastic purchase. The lack of battery regulation is ideal for situations where you need light regardless of the circumstances. as if it were an emergency? Right!.

I've got to tell you, this teeny-tiny unit packs a punch when it comes to "light. " It is also extremely simple to use. Simply press the power button to turn on a warm, non-blinding light. Click it again right away, and you'll be rewarded with a powerful white lantern. Even after reading the reviews, I was surprised by how bright it was. This is not a prank. Having this light will come in handy during power outages. We don't go camping, but I can see how this lantern could be useful for them. We simply charged it overnight and are excited to put it to good use. Thank you to whoever designed this. It's perfectly balanced.

This lantern is smaller than I had anticipated (I don't always read the specifications!). It's not particularly bright, but it's sufficient. My goal was to find a lantern that could light up a large enough area to cook, eat, or even read in the event of a power outage. The fact that it has graduated levels of light (as described in the description) appeals to me. It appears to be sturdy, and it comes with a hook for hanging it if you have a suitable location. I just got it, so I can't comment on the battery life, but it took the better part of a day to charge the first time, which I believe indicates that it has a lot of energy storage. I'm considering purchasing another.

We used it to light our outdoor table for dinner on our camping trip, and the brightness was ideal for everyone to see all of the food and each other clearly. We dimmed it after dinner was finished to provide nice lighting in the campground as we sat by the fire, and the battery life is excellent, as it lasted for all three camping evenings without needing to be recharged. Our 5-year-old granddaughter was thrilled to be able to carry it from our motorhome to the table and back.

It's a brilliant color! I was also impressed by the fact that it appears I might be able to charge my phone on it. In comparison to the others I was considering, this appeared to be the best; it came charged, and it also charges via USB, so I don't have to worry about batteries.

This lantern will provide you with a BRIGHT source of light. However, the second time I attempted to charge the battery, the socket became stuck inside the lantern and was permanently damaged. Because I can't recharge the lantern, it's a waste of time. Junk. This item is a complete waste of money.
