Questions & Answers

Is it truly impossible to turn it off without removing the batteries? Is there a light that blinks when you turn it off unless the batteries are removed?

When the batteries are inserted, the light will always blink. However, because it is a low-energy LED, I've used it for many hours and the light is still bright after a year of use with the same batteries. I simply turn it away from me when I'm sleeping in the back of my truck or in a tent. Any reflection is so faint that it doesn't bother me, and I'm a light sleeper who gets irritated by almost everything at night. This light is absolutely stunning. In fact, I purchased a second, and now I have two double-burner propane lanterns that I will never use. This light is similar to those in terms of brightness.

What are the hours of constant use at 100% and 50% respectively at 100% and 50% respectively at 100% and 50% respectively at both 100% ?

Daylight White takes 18 hours to charge, Warm White takes 25 hours to charge, and Combined takes 12 hours to charge.

I'd like to know how big this lantern is. It was nowhere to be found/?

There are three sizes available. 74 * 3. 46* 7. 24 in.

Is there a battery pack included with it?

It does not come with a battery.

The Best Lighting You've Ever Seen - The LE triumphs over the RayOVac Sportsman in a lantern comparison
5/5

On the same order, I got the Rayovac Sportsman 240 Lumen LED Lantern SE3DLNACOM and the Lighting Ever 1000 lumens lantern. I didn't realize it at the time, but having both lanterns in my hands allowed me to compare them side by side. This could aid in the decision-making process. br>br>The Rayovac I bought on this page says it has 240 lumens, but the one I got says it has 305. In terms of physical construction, the LE and RV are nearly identical. Both are powered by three D-size batteries. Although the LE is only one ounce heavier than the RV, it feels and appears to be of better quality. When describing each lantern, I'll use the terms LE and RV, but keep in mind that I'm comparing the Rayovac 305 lumen that arrived with what's advertised on the Amazon page. br>br>The LE's highest mode output is 1000 lumens, compared to 305 lumens for the RV's highest mode. On high, they're both bright white. While the RV does not have a color temp variable, it does provide an option to dim the output to 140 lumens for its 2nd mode and can run 140 hours, the LE wins due to the option to change to preferred temperature color. br>br>The LE's second mode both reduces the lumens (dimmer) and changes the color temp to a warm white, while the RV does not have a color temp variable, it does provide an option to dim the output to 140 lumens for its When set to mode 2 (warm white), the LE's 18-hour battery life increases to 25-hours. The LE's third mode dims the light even more and blends the warm and daylight temperatures to create a comfortable middle ground. According to the LE's paperwork, mode 3 will only last 12 hours, which begs the question of why it is the mode that cuts the life the shortest. br>br>The final mode for both (LE's 4th mode, RV's 3rd mode) is a daylight / cool white color blinking / strobe light. I don't have much to say about this mode - I don't think it's important right now. The RV does have one more feature, a dim green light on the power button that blinks slowly to help the owner find it in the dark. Personally, I dislike this feature and would remove the batteries or cover the light with a dimmit. Buyers may prefer it; however, I'm not a fan of idiot lights, whether powered or not. Finally, I mentioned that both of these lanterns are made from the same mold and feature battery compartments in the base. To close the battery compartment on the LE, the cover's slot must align correctly with the stem mounted in the base. The RV has a slot on the rim of the base (no stem) that aligns with the slot opening on the cover. Even with the batteries in the unit, however, the LE cover is much easier to close. To close the base, you must push down and turn once the proper alignment has been achieved. Consider a child being pushed. To open the pill bottle, you must first remove the lid. Toss these lanterns in the same way. After three attempts, the LE base closed, frustrating the RV's numerous attempts. When it comes to battery replacement procedures, LE comes out on top. Overall, the LE comes out on top. br>br> I paid around 17 dollars for a 15-ounce lantern with more features. The 14 ounce RV was $24, but the list price on Amazon was $34, and the buyer received a $10 discount at the time of purchase. The 4 watt RV, on the other hand, lasts a lot longer at 2 watts. 9 days or 5 days? The 10 watt LE has a run time of 8 hours on mode 2 and 8 hours on mode 1. I'm not going camping with this because it only lasts 75 days or 1 full day on mode 2. This was bought in case of a power outage as part of a larger emergency preparedness plan, and bright is exactly what we need indoors when there's a power outage. The hours will be spread out over several days, with 18 hours being the longest. LE takes the cake when it comes to price, battery requirements, and functionality. br>br>I'd never heard of Lighting Ever before, but the product packaging indicates that they have a headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada, a second in the United Kingdom, and a third in China, which is where this lamp was made. It has RoHS certification, a one-year warranty, and the most accurate English language instructions I've seen in a long time; it's so refreshing to get grammatically correct documents included in the box (yes, a real box). The RayOVac comes with a limited lifetime warranty and is packaged in an unbranded plastic transparent bag. On the LE, the TLC is visible, whereas on the RV, the product packaging is a wrapped label with specifications, and it appears that product presentation was an afterthought. For $24, some sort of delivery protection would be nice, and whoever LE is, if they produce another product as good as this one, I'll buy again.

It was a pleasant surprise
5/5

I ordered for a camping trip with my family. Given the lantern's size, the light output was a pleasant surprise, and it perfectly lit up our camping area. We had no trouble cooking, playing cards, or reading. We left them on high for three days, from around 7 p. m. to 12 a. m. , and the brightness remained consistent from day one to day three. Purchasing additional supplies for home emergencies is a must.

All of the lanterns have been returned
3/5

Made for a low price. The design and output of the light are both impressive. However, after about 20 hours of use in a self-contained environment, I'm returning them as defective. unit of storage The plastic begins to melt. Yes, MELTS is a word that comes to mind. I have a Ni-MH battery with a capacity of 10,000mAh. In the light, MH rechargeable batteries produce enough heat to melt and distort the plastic holding the battery terminals after 3 hours of use on high output. Three of the nine lights I own have stopped working. The other six are non-functional due to heat damage. Soon, it will be operational. POSITIVES: br>br>NEUTRAL: br>br>NEUTRAL: br>br> The design and operation are both extremely user-friendly. The maximum output (1,000 lumens) is a brilliant WHITE that will easily illuminate a medium-sized room in the event of a power outage or while camping. Switching to the warm tone is as simple as pressing the button again, and the result is a very warm light that is even warmer than traditional incandescent bulbs. A massive bon-bon-bon-bon-bon-bon-bon-bon-bon-bon a light with a fiery tone The highest output appears to be around 700 lumens in this area. On the bottom, there's a nice plastic hook that folds flat and has a wire spring gate (like a climbing carabiner) to keep it from bouncing or falling off whatever it's hanging from. To keep it from sliding around, the base is made of a grippy rubber. br>CONTRARY TO THE OPINIONS OF THE OPINION OF THE OPINION OF THE OP The rubber button that controls all of the functions will flash a bright crisp green every few seconds once the batteries are inserted. There is no way to disable the blinking. As a result, you won't be able to save your "leak-proof" data. In this light, you can "free" rechargeable NiMH or lithium batteries for long periods of time without draining them. Another point of contention is the bottom-mounted battery compartment cover (rubber base). It's not easy to re-establish a relationship. install. It comes off with a quick 1/4 counterclockwise turn, but putting it back together after the battery is more difficult. It's not difficult, but you must get everything in the right place. Just a little picky.

1000 lumens of reassuring light I bought it to use as the main light in my house in the event of a power outage
5/5

I have a few other lights that are meant to be used as backup lights. These are smaller and placed in strategic locations throughout my home as up/emergency lights. Being alone in the mountains necessitates a high level of preparation. br>br>The brightness of this light, at 1000 lumens, is more than adequate for the normal activities that I perform while inside my home. When compared to a competitor's I bought a while back, changing the batteries and reinstalling the housing is also not a hassle. br>br>It's important to note that the phrase 'water-based' has a negative connotation. 'Waterproof' does not imply 'water resistant. ' It would have been more helpful if the manufacturer had included the light's IP rating. However, I won't be using this light in the rain, so this isn't a big deal for me. br>br>I would recommend this light, though I can't comment on its water resistance because I don't own one.

This is an excellent product at an excellent price; I ordered three of these lights, two of which had blinking lights and one of which did not
4/5

I contacted customer service, and as you can see from their response, the new product does not blink when it is switched off. Aside from the blinking light, this is an excellent product at an excellent price; I purchased two more as gifts for friends today. Their response is: br>Best Gregbr>br> br>Hello Greg,br>Welcome to the LE website. br>In response to your question, the blinking on/off button is no longer available in the latest version. I hope this has been of assistance.
