Yes, it does, I would say. That's the rod with the very tiny needle at its tip for clearing out the buildup of carbon in the orifice. With the new lantern I installed into my father's old one, it works very well and actually warmed up to its full brightness much quicker.

Just what I needed to bring my old lantern back to life. The generator on the picture is displayed on a cardboard page while mine comes in plastic, so that is fine. It is one that was made by Upon receiving the Tube, the cardboard insert, as well as the rod for cleaning the tip, I was very pleased. In light of reports that the innards of the animal were missing, I checked that first. It does not come with the nut, so you will have to attach the nut yourself You can use that since it's not being lost (unless you do). I installed the software without any issues. Take your time while building your mantel so that nothing gets messed up. I lit it up with no problems, and the campsite was very bright after it began to fire! You can always have a spare generator and wrench as well as spare mantels on hand whenever you need them.
Here's why I gave this piece a two-star rating. The item was purchased back in July to refurbish an old Coleman lantern that was made in the 1980's, but I have only just got round to using it. There was a missing part, the cleaning rod and its spring, due to packaging mishap, so I was unable to use it. In spite of the fact that I had to put off fixing the lantern and camping with my Grandson because of massive California wildfires this past summer, I was ready to send the product back to the seller. My next step will be to contact the manufacturer and see if they can.
Some of the lanterns they repaired brought back some old lanterns to life, but I also bought some new ones. I love how the parts to old lanterns are still available, and I've bought some new lanterns You don't have to explain spare parts if you give one of the new lanterns by Coleman as a gift. They are just as strong as the previous models, and you won't wind up explaining themselves. It is my firm belief that Coleman will continue to offer every spare part 60 years from now. Their products stand the test of time and they stand behind them in a way that is uncommon today in the consumer goods market.
This is a replacement part for a classic The fact that they still manufacture replacement parts for antique lanterns is incredible. Is that done by whom? Coleman does that, at least.
In this case, I was burdened with a terminally clogged generator (even bent the clean out wire! ), so it was time to pull the plug (ugh), and this new generator worked just fine. A simple replacement is required. It is thanks to Coleman that such good replacement parts are available.
The part is a great replacement for the 220 or 218, and is in stock. Make sure you have a lantern model as this won’t fit the later models 290, 288, 295 etc.
Ensure you don’t order a part that won't fit by taking the time to determine your lantern model. Models are many, and there are plenty of them to choose from.
Thanks to Coleman for making parts for old products, my lantern now works like new after being cleaned up and the gas lines were cleaned. Thank you Coleman for making spare parts for old products. I believe that their products are built to last and my lantern proves that statement.
A clogged generator most likely caused the old lantern to stop working. Five minutes after opening the package of this replacement, it went back to working. Coleman, thanks a lot!.
