This is likely to happen. Lamp generators have thin tubes that attract insects and it is this thin tube that draws insects to the lamp. Although the needle at the top is difficult to remove and reposition, you can try cleaning it.
I believe it would work if it was a 220B. There is no 222B in my knowledge.

Just be very careful taking out of the packing, since the rod can slide out and depending on how it lands, the delicate tip can be damaged. The reason I bought another one is because I want to have It's my own fault. Do not remove that rod from the tube. Just hook it to the lantern and fasten the nut at the end. My mistake was to not pay attention to that point on the rod. Learn from me.
An old lantern was made like new again after it was given a new generation. 1959 was the year of its production. It is challenging to change the generator, even for someone who has three hands and tiny fingers, but after ten minutes I managed to do it.
However, I seemed to have a Canadian The piece was too long and it did not fit correctly, so I returned Unfortunately, I cannot find the metric Canadian version at a reasonable price, so the lantern will have to go.
In exchange for two 200A lanterns I refurbished, I bought two of these all at the same time. mounted the Gennys in a 1955 and a 1963 200A lantern and they have performed perfectly. We took the 63 camping last weekend and it worked flawlessly, even after we rode across Namakan Lake's east end on a rough road.
The lantern I restored for my Dad was very much appreciated by him when I restored his old Coleman single mantle "Preppers" obviously made them too expensive and maybe the way LED works also played a role. I told him to just get a new one, but he seems to have made it ridiculously expensive. But here's a mod to make it even better for those of you who can't live without it.
It comes with the incredibly fine cleaning rod which makes cleaning a breeze - a genuine Coleman part. i agree that the most important part is not bending. packaging isn't great, it came in a padded envelope and it's VERY important it doesn't bend. The best thing to do would be to build a small box.
This is brand new, and it works right out of the box. The two lanterns here were missing parts so I had to rebuild them. I found this to be extremely helpful.
As it was shipped 7 day's prior, I would have to assume it was sent first class mail promptly. It was a good seller, and the price was a bargain. However, the part did not fix the issue with my lantern, so I am not sure if that was the cause of it? Somehow, the fuel is getting stopped, but when you shake the lantern, the fuel will go back in for about a minute or so before it goes out again. By all means, if anyone understands what is happening here and how it can be fixed then please contact me. It is a very old single mantel lantern from 1966, and it did work for several In the past, storms frequent here would trigger us to use it as a light during emergencies. We have it hanging in our kitchen. After not going without power for 2 1/2 years, we did about 2 months ago and I was shocked to find that my lantern no longer would In addition to replacing the generator, I have also replaced the check valve, cleaned out the fuel tank, and of course cleaned the lantern up by taking it apart. Next, I plan on using Gum Out Carburetor cleaner in the fuel tank. Something seems to be clogging?.
