What do I have to do in order to locate the following coleman lantern 2888a700 the generator is 3 3/4" and I would like to locate the right part. ?

A 286 without leaded fuel is old and I have it. What is the best generator for our needs? It seems that I can use regular ethanol - Is it possible to mix natural gas with other fuels?

In response to question 2, ethanol is a fuel. If the car runs on both gas and electricity, it should be fine. You'd need to ask Coleman customer support. I have a couple 285 models and don't know whether they're older than the 286, but I've heard that that can interfere with charging. The generators I have on reserve are about a dozen. The 285A series will it fit?

285A is the model I have. It is written near the end of the warnings on the lantern below the fuel tank and immediately above the "285A Series" designation, "Use Generator 285-4" There are 5891. It is one of the few times when reading the small print is necessary.

If you're getting the wrong part number, be sure to double check it

An item was ordered in the wrong quantity. It is needed in the range of 290-300 Instead of 285-1, it should be 5891 It has been my pleasure and yours to waste your time.

It is a genuine Coleman replacement part. Updating the Coleman lantern will make it work like new. A person who actually is able to speak the language will be able to provide good, clear instructions.
