No, I do not believe that is true. However, this is the official 100% from YG select:)

Is there a box included in the package?

Yes, there was a box with information written in English, Korean, and Japanese. As with the light stick, the box was red and black.

It didn't work both times

I ordered this a month ago and had to return it, get a refund, and reorder it. It was ordered because the light would not turn on, despite multiple battery changes. I watched tutorials to ensure I was correctly inserting the batteries and that there wasn't some sort of special trick to turn it on that wasn't obvious from the instructions. It didn't work out in the end. So I ordered it again, received it a few weeks later, and experienced the same issue. I'm not sure if it was just an unfortunate coincidence that I got two of the few ineffective lightsticks out of the entire stock, but I'm not willing to risk a third mishap. This one will be returned, and I will not be ordering another. Certainly not from this vendor. Both lightsticks, however, appeared to be in good physical condition – unfortunately, I had hoped that they would both look good and function properly.

There is no light when fresh AAA batteries are used

I was very dissatisfied with the quality, and I tried four different batteries but no light came on. I'll have to send the product back a second time.

It's not a bootleg, which is fantastic, but I bought it from the YGE store, so it's obviously official. It does exactly what it says it will do, and if you want to cheer on iKON, you'll need a konbat, so get one!.

My sister was ecstatic about the present she received. Stan is a huge fan of Ikon. It functions admirably. I had some issues with the battery, but after watching a video, I figured it out.

Love it. It was a huge success. Not the best quality, but I believe that was due to a change in the light stick's design rather than a problem with the seller.
