When you open his mouth, it doesn't actually croak, but it does make a creaking sound. It's perfectly fine.
It turns off automatically as soon as your finger is removed from the button, so the light cannot be left on.

I bought this as a joke gift for my husband to keep on his daypack in case of emergency. It is a huge hit with our grandchildren. It's a good idea that's also enjoyable. It doesn't have an "on" switch, if that's important. To make it shine, it must be switched on.
This is something that my son really enjoys. We bought it after seeing one of his friends with one and falling in love with it. This one didn't fall short of expectations. For him, carrying the clipping tail around is a lot of fun. When you open it's mouth, it makes a nice noise. This is a very cute and well-made item.
I work in pediatrics and use this to keep children occupied while also keeping an eye on their EOM. It allows me to listen to the sounds of my heart and lungs while they watch me click away and follow the flash light. I got my co-worker. One for the employees as well.
It was a hit with the kids. Even better at distracting crying children in the ER and getting them to open their mouth to check their sore throat.
This adorable little fellow gets the job done! It's a little bigger than the standard badge light, but it still works and doesn't make my badge pull too heavy. Furthermore, it is extremely bright. It's a big hit among my coworkers. If you work with children, they will enjoy it as well; one of our rotating pediatrics residents confirmed this for me. I would strongly advise!.
For children, this is an excellent light. The only drawback is that it has a clickable lever to open the mouth. I wish it were just a button, but it's still cool!.
My 5-year-old gave it to me as a stocking stuffer. It's perfect for him. It also has a carabeener hook, which I like. It's so adorable.
In a medical office where I examine pediatric patients, I use this as a distraction tool. It's also useful for looking inside mouths, though the blue light can be a little distorted.
