Obtaining this for my elderly parents was a great purchase - a good emergency flashlight at a great price - In their area there are sometimes total power outages, and it would be useful to be able to find the flashlight quickly if the outage occurs in the evening hours

The "glow in the dark" feature makes finding this flashlight easier. It can be seen in total darkness for hours (depending on the weather conditions or the quality of your interior lighting) and the clear mounting case makes it much harder to misplace the flashlight. In addition, the body of the light appears to be in very good shape, so it should withstand minor drops well too, especially on The issues with this flashlight kit are very minor, though, and this flashlight kit will continue to be a good value.

The color is very bright and cool. The flashlight is the perfect gift for my wife so she will stop stealing my surefire. Pelican has always made great flashlights. It's really cool to see the glow in the dark body.
