) Because it arrived in a plastic bag for me, the box was a little damaged, as the reviews stated. Others, on the other hand, arrived in either a yellow bag or a yellow box. This is merely a disclaimer. Also, AAA Batteries (specifically 2) are required, and this is an official YG light stick, as evidenced by the fact that it was verified on the app when I took a screenshot. Someone said it was used and broken, so I just wanted to clarify that. Most likely, it was harmed during shipping. Also, I'd like to clarify something. THIS IS AN OFFICIAL YG BLACKPINK LIGHTSTICKbr>br>updated review (March 21st 2021): ok, it's an official light stick, but a battery got stuck in it and won't come out, so it's stuck in there and the lightstick doesn't work anymore sadly- I essentially squandered $30 on this and am unable to obtain a replacement. I'm hoping to get a version 2 of the lightstick, but I'm currently stuck with a broken one. I gave it a two-star rating instead of a one because it was a genuine lightstick, as you can see from the app's verification, but otherwise it's just a paperweight.
The lightstick, on the other hand, only illuminates one side of the pyong bong. If both lights are off, isn't it kind of defeating the purpose of a light stick? For $37, I would not buy from here again– you'd be better off purchasing merch from the official website. It has a clear application. It's even missing the batteries. They debuted three years ago, whether it was officially announced or not, and this appears to be two years old. While I wait for my refund, I believe this is a rip-off. Fans of Blackpink, beware: don't buy this! Jisoo isn't going to like it.
She needed this for a concert, and the "official" ones were at least twice as much; it's Chinese plastic, but I'm sure the "official" ones are as well. Despite the fact that it has been several months, it is still functional.
This isn't a BlackPink lightstick in the traditional sense. Even with the correct batteries, the product did not work because the box did not have the official YG sticker. It did come with a Jennie photocard, but the box's overall packaging was shoddy.
In general, everything went well; the only flaw was the caja protection, which was actually quite poor and disintegrated completely as seen in the photos; otherwise, everything works as it should, and my sister is happy.
I adore it; the product is exactly as described and arrived in such a timely manner that I was able to use it at a Blackpink concert.
The box was crushed because it arrived in a plain manila envelope. The light stick itself was undamaged and fully functional, but the battery compartment in the handle did not appeal to me. If you accidentally put the batteries in backwards or simply need to replace them, you must "pop" the battery out from beneath with a paperclip or something similar. Also, the top-mounted switch is extremely difficult to operate. A bent paperclip can be inserted into two holes on the switch and used to turn the dial. I think they should include a paperclip in the package. br>br>Overall, this is about what I was expecting.
Is this an official light stick, or what? Because the hammer split on both sides down the middle when I unscrewed the bottom to put the batteries in, and it has strange black specks all over the pink hammer part - It has a cheap plastic feel to it as well.
