A velcro strap is included on the dog one. That is the only distinction. Otherwise, it's the same exact light.
There is no adhesive, but it does have a clip for attachment. It is attached to the back of the swimmer's head by the goggles' strap.
They do sell them pre-mixed and ready to use. I've been buying single CR2032 batteries, stacking them in pairs, and taping the edges with a single thin layer of electrical tape. If you don't tape the edges, the circuit will complete whenever the batteries are in the light, and the batteries will constantly drain when you aren't using them. If you don't want to tape them, you can simply remove the batteries and replace them between uses, but this is more work than simply taping the edges.

I am a regular runner who goes for a run at 4 a. m. 30am. It is always pitch black, regardless of the season. I wear two of these lights for my own safety and as a courtesy to other drivers. These lights are blazing brightly! It's as if a halo has been placed around my body. They're simple to use and last a long time, and changing the battery (which hasn't happened yet, of course) is a breeze. You must have them if you run or walk in the dark!.
waterproof to the core For nighttime Marathon swims, I clip this light to my swim goggles. It's also water-resistant. REALLY!.
It's bright and good. The belt clip is firmly attached to the waistband. THE PROBLEM IS AS FOLLOWS: The cap is twisted off to disassemble the light. The light is turned on by twisting the cap. This means that you turn it off by twisting it. So keeping it turned off is a delicate balancing act, and eventually the cap wears out and disappears into the shrubbery off the trail, never to be seen again. br>br>If it had a locking mechanism and a more positive switch, I'd like it a lot more. It's a bad design as it is.
I changed the battery from a steady light to a flashing light to keep myself safe during evening runs. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again because it's bright and prevents me from being run over while out running.
We live on a 20-acre property, and our dogs enjoy running around and exploring. Due to the fact that the sun sets earlier in the winter, they are frequently out at night. This light attaches to his collar with a strong clip. When I go to let them out, all I have to do is twist it and it starts flashing. Even through the trees, I can clearly see them up to 500 feet away. br>I'm confident that our neighbors will not be able to miss them while driving, and that they will not be mistaken for coyotes:.
These are what I use to swim in the ocean at night. br>Using several is more enjoyable and festive. br>And, as a bonus, here's something to share at the last minute: So get a few! When everyone has one or two of these, it makes for an anxious night swimmer.
For the long hauls through the night, I keep this one and a yellow one in my endurance bag. They are strong, intelligent, and unable to switch off. I've gotten about 4-hours of use out of the batteries. The money spent over the last five years has been well spent.
It's depressingly bright where I live, which is a good thing because there are too many drunks at 6 a. m.
