I think they would work well as snowflakes since they are white.
Compared with other systems, I have found these to be much easier to use and drain quickly I highly recommend the coffee filter option if you will be processing a small amount of milk. I do not recommend the coffee filter option if you will be processing a large amount of milk.
It is very likely that the filter weave is too dense, but I do not know for sure. It is possible to use a coffee filter for greek yogurt,

This is what I use to filter the cornmeal, flour, etc. After I fry fish, the oil is removed from my frying pan. They work well if the oil is warm, but the oil needs to be warm for the detergent to function. Placing one at the bottom of a medium screen is sufficient. By doing so, I'm able to reuse my oil many times. You'll have a long shelf life for your oil if you keep impurities out of it.
There is nothing better than these filters. I am amazed by how tiny the details it captures are! A lot of the small bits were missed when I used the other strainer. That's not what you want! These will definitely be on my shopping list in the future.
They are a great tool. My holder for these filters so I can funnel milk into mason jars was long gone (blame that teenager who always puts dishes away in odd places) but I simply bend them into a funnel shape, pour with one hand, and hold them in place. I don't have any issues, and they do a good job at keeping out dirt and hair.
If your filter is clean and you have this on it, there will not be a single streak. I find that it outperforms washable ones as well as cheesecloth and towels. We are joking when we wear shirts.
Straining goat milk with these is simple and convenient. The stainless strainer works well with it as well.
These are too large, but I made them that way. They still work, though. Some times I use the entire paper, while at other times I trim it slightly. There was nothing wrong with my order, just that I should have checked the website on my box first.
The boxes are larger than I would like, but the filters filter out the alcohol in homemade wine well. They work great, but I wish they were smaller. I would love to have one of these for ever because they are washable and can be reused.
