Questions & Answers
There might have been a problem, but I did not notice. It doesn't stay in the water for more than 24 hours. A rigid Nalgene bottle kept full of water seems to have the same flavor as this one.
There is no liner attached. I did not need to complete any tasks. Exactly like the hard wall version, this version is excellent and can handle extreme temperatures as well.
It does not occur to me
In other words, yes, the two go very well together. This product has been used with a First Need filter for many years, and I can't imagine going without either.

It was the first one that I had received that did not have a white reinforced ring to be able to hold the canteen, so I After receiving a second canteen saying the same thing, I contacted the manufacturer who said they still made the canteen with the reinforced white ring for carrying it around. In order to give Amazon another chance to send a canteen, I asked them to include the reinforcement ring as well. Despite attempting to provide a complete canteen, we were unable to do so. The reinforcement ring around the hole of these canteens (96 ounce) has always been present on those who have owned them in the past. The manufacturer needs to get with Amazon so that both parties are on the same page in order to provide consumers with a complete canteen.
In 2014, the product was purchased. When hiking season is in full swing, this trail is extensively used. These have been frozen, thrown around, filled with gross water, clean water, put into the dogs' pack, dropped off a cliff, and many more scenarios. They have held up wonderfully. I will retire these this year and find an alternative. The welded seams have begun to come undone this year and both have slow leaks in at the seams between the plastic on the inside that gradually allow water to escape to the outside. I will look for an alternative. It is a wide mouth so that I was able to clean them easily and I did not expect them to last for so long (or as long as they did), so I have certainly been glad to use them.
It also squishes down once empty, so you do not have to make much room for it. These bags will cut easily when you come into contact with sharp objects. It is in no way comparable to the 'bullet proof' quality of Nalgene's hard plastic bottles or even their soft/rubber I had a couple of them puncture when I got them and they got little pin-prick marks on them. They have a number of pricks in them that significantly reduce their usefulness. As a result, I am lowering this score from 5 to 4 Four stars out of five A star. A quick update In the meantime, I have another of these bottles with a slow leak from one of the seams. Although I bet the product is great, it cannot recommend, even though I have been a big fan of Nalgene bottles for decades. We simply don't recommend using these containers because they leak and damage too easily. Instead of having to pay overpriced for an overused item, I could have purchased a bottle of water and saved money.
Nalgene cantenes are what my hiking buddies and I use Because REI no longer sells them, I had to order it for another of my buddies. Our attention was drawn to the fact that the design had changed (though not the photo). no longer has a plastic reinforcement As a result, it is lighter, but if you carry it by the hole (which is why it is there), it may not last as long. Because we use them mostly in camp and not to carry water in our packs, it wasn't a big deal for us. It looked like there was a longer neck as well, but I cannot be certain.
Those who lived the longest were the oldest I have spent three or four summers in the country. Another one I purchased from this site made it one summer, but the last one that I bought from here only made it a few days before succumbing to leaks. We're very disappointed, especially after finding out that the price has increased by more than double since 2005. In terms of the canteen for camp use, I really liked it. You can simply grab water from a waterfall or filter a lot of water into it very fast. The seal will remain in place while you use it and stand it upright for the next splash of water without having to reseal it every time. The simplest water carrying system on the market. When it used to be durable, you could use it to carry water to dry camps inside a pack. I would no longer risk putting this product in my pack while it was filled with water. Having found the durability to now be below my expectations, I intend to use water bags like my MSR's dromedary bag, which I have also owned for 10+ years and am going to continue to use for another 10. While I will deal with the shortcomings of it before risking not having water when I need it during trips into the wild, I find it less convenient to fill or use than a stand-up container. I think the biggest flaw is the inability to handle frequent washing. Unless you are car camping, I would recommend passing on this product.
It is because of these bottles that I love them so much In addition to their compact size, these bottles weigh next to nothing when they are empty, and the thread on their mount matches a thread on my water filter, so they can be filled at a creekside. However, I find that they don't meet my expectations since. . . As a result, they leak. It happens a lot. During my time with Nalgene, the support has been excellent. All the ones that have leaked have been replaced completely, no questions asked, but let's face it, they shouldn't fail so often, and it hasn't been nice discovering that they have by finding water all over and everywhere. In the past, pinhole leaks have always occured near the welds, and I believe this is due to fatigue at In folding and handling the items, the plastic is bent severely near the welded areas, which eventually causes the plastic to collapse and a hole to form. It is always small, but it has a devastating effect on As much as I would like to use these bottles, I dislike narrow mouth bottles, since they are difficult to clean and dry, and they do not These bottles are the only ones that meet these.
On the 19th of November, 2010, Big Bend will be a blackout. I visited the Grand Canyon in 2017, and it was breathtaking In 2017, Yellowstone became a World Heritage site Mountainous region of the Sawtooth Mountains, July 2013 Mountains of Guadalupe in 2011/13 This national park is located in the Rocky Mountains. I have been able to save my life every time with it since it has worked every time. I definitely recommend it for those in Big Bend and elsewhere. You carry your water all the way up the Guadalupe Mountains. With its wide mouth opening, it is easy to fill from waterfalls & other sources A creek. Easy pouring into another container is made possible by the ergonomics of this product. Three days after it's empty it's the end of day 3 4. You have been working 30 hours in a row Forty miles of rugged terrain at seven mph The distance between the two is 12,000 feet Getting back to civilization is time. The device is very light weight (2 ounces) and compact when collapsed when destroyed. In addition, it is ideal for photo or video shoots in the sun. My tripod's center hook is used to hang my bladder to add weight after a busy day of shooting, then I drink or rinse off. For the times when I am not hiking alone, I purchased a third Wide Mouth Cantene.
