This bottle is made up of a 3 x 3 square. Five times three. A height of 5 inches and a width of 7 inches.
Several Nalgene bottles in my possession have raised impressions on the base of the bottle and on the lid providing information about the brand and size. The raised impressions on the bottle are caused by the material of the clear bottles.

It is made to last! It makes me glad to see a plastic bottle gets 5 stars - a strange thing to say. Although I do, for years I have used some dollar store type bottles to store liquids in small quantities on camping trips, isopropyl, olive oil, etc. And I always found myself having to bag them in ziplocks because of leaks. I no longer feel the need to carry an extra bag with me, as these are much higher quality. It will be easy to buy more should I need them again.
It is the perfect size for storing Cream of Wheat, Malt-O-Meal, and other malt beverages There are similar sized boxes of hot cereal in the pantry as well as Meal. All that's needed is a label with instructions for cooking.
Containers of this quality should last a long time. My snowmachine oil is stored in them and I use them for samples and for carrying spare oil, and they've yet to leak even after 100s of miles of bumping.
This is an excellent Nalgene bottle for storage. A square Nalgene storage bottle that is both leak proof and sturdy, it's everything you could ever ask for. Food chain's tip of the iceberg.
There is no leakage or deterioration associated with alcohol products like silicon.
My sincere thanks go out to I needed my package to arrive fast. I paid $2 more per bottle than I normally do, but I couldn't hold out.
There are a few issues, such as the two bottles that did not come with.
I used it to store communion wine for the traveling ministry kit of the Vicar! It was the same size as another one that looked old and falling apart.
