The sale consists of two (2) canteens, as shown in the picture, and a canvas holder There are some cool metal containers made in the USA that are screw off lids. I have some of those, and they're very good.
They're made of hard plastic like they give to the military.
If so, you must not be old enough to understand. There are a couple of kinds of canteens that the military has used for missions. It is possible to get canteens dispense gas masks and other equipment in some that are constructed for just hiking as you would for boot camp or for Stateside. The backpack style with a drink straw is also available, but you will not need a gas mask since hydration is still a big issue in humid climates or desert climates. A simple GI canteen(newer plastic type) with cap can also be purchased in most any sporting good store, where one can change out the cap for the correct drinking straw type cap hookup for the USA's M41 gas mask (I believe this is the correct style).

These are the ones I needed after watching a YouTube video where they were Mollee'd to the Condor H2O pack. Today, they arrived in great shape and are as good as new. It is true that the canteens I am very pleased with these results, which far exceed my expectations. Kits can be created quickly and easily. In addition, I emailed the seller with a number of questions and he answered them promptly. I would give this purchase five stars.
The customer service was good. The seller contacted me after I noticed that one of the covers had an excessive amount of wear. Upon receiving the shipment, the seller responded immediately, saying he would send It will not be a problem for me to do business with this seller in the future. A pair of them was purchased. There were brand new canteens in the Despite being used military covers, they appear to be in excellent to very good The metal cups I purchased fit inside the cans and the cans as well as the covers of the reproduction canteens. Camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities can be carried out with this item.
While the packs on the canteens have clearly been used, they are still within the requirements of being fully functional and canteens are brand new. The MOLLE straps allow me to add these to my backpack easily and they look fantastic.
The equipment is of good quality for a decent price. It's best to rinse them a couple times to get rid of some of the plastic smell before they are used.
It is not safe to eat in canteens I had excellent condition pouches that have been issued, but the pouches were used. Everything seems to be in good working order, including the straps and snaps.
A sturdy construction. As long as I take care of them, I expect they will last forever.
One of the Molle cover snaps on the new canteen is broken.
