A woman's 9 1/2 size and a man's 7 1/2 size would both fit into a Medium.
Although an XL is large, I would recommend it for a shoe size 12.
I'm sorry, but I'm unable to respond to the $75 booties that I purchased in Med for $100. and discovered that it was a tad on the small side. I usually wear a size ten or a size ten. 5. I switched from a Med to a Large, and I prefer the large.

They provide just enough warmth without making my feet too hot in some places and too cold in others. They're made in such a way that they're easy to put on and take off, but they stay put while walking around inside the house (due to an internal, elastic cord?). The outer sole is tough and offers a little traction. In any case, I wouldn't recommend wearing it outside on rough terrain. These booties aren't cheap, and they're definitely not meant to be worn instead of hiking boots! I've added a pair of arch-supporting sneaker footbeds to make them even more comfortable when I'm working at my home stand-up computer desk in the winter. I just throw them in the dryer with a fabric softener sheet at the end of the winter before putting them away for the summer. Order early because as the cold weather approaches, these items tend to sell out quickly.
Western Mountaineering is the second company from which I've bought a product. The first thing I bought was a down sleeping bag. Over the years, I've owned a number of bags, but the Western Mountaineering Bag is by far the best. It's a fantastic tote. The down booties, like the bag, are of excellent quality and keep my toes toasty warm. My only regret is that I wish I had bought them much sooner. Western Mountaineering is more expensive than comparable products, but I don't mind paying more for a product that is made in the United States because I'm not wealthy and have worked hard my entire life to make ends meet.
But I don't have to run on my treadmill six times a day any longer - I can read or even watch television in complete comfort! While these booties are more expensive than the cheaper knockoffs made mostly in China, and I've tried about four different pairs, the Chinese ones do work, but not in extreme cold, and the quality is not comparable. Feathers can be seen poking through the shell, but they aren't completely down. Simply put, these are HEAVENLY!.
The best down gear for serious outdoor work is made by Western Mountaineering: Perfection in every way! Since 1977, I'd been wearing Sierra Designs down booties. It was fantastic. There was a water(snow)-related problem. With an ensolite sole and ripstop nylon uppers, they have a proof cordura sole and side s up 2". If I hadn't misplaced one, I would still be wearing them. The down booties from Western Mountaineering have surpassed my 38-year-old expectations. booties from the past - They are large, fluffy, and have a distinct personality. a brilliant cord lock that is trapped in place with a loop of the flat lace that serves as the drawstring - and an equally effective approach to the sole, a brilliant cord lock that is trapped in place with a loop of the flat lace that serves as the drawstring - double- Design that is secure. I believe I've purchased the last pair I'll require (unless I'm invited to join a 7000 m team - which I doubt). Then I'll go out and purchase the "expedition" boots. They're so well made that I'd only replace them if they were damaged by accident or abuse. Warranty is for a lifetime. What a wonderful group of people to be associated with. Even if you just need a good sleeping bag for moderate temperatures, all of their down wear is first-rate, expedition-quality. Whether you're 15 or 96, you'll have purchased the last one you'll need. It's tough stuff, and it's even better because it comes with a warranty.
I'm on my third pair of down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled I've had polar fleece ones as well as ones that are filled. I should have ordered a medium instead of a large because it was quite big. (I'm a size 9, by the way. ) 5 - 10 men from the United States were ordered, and the booties were ordered in a large size).
These booties had been on my husband's feet since the 1970s, and they were filthy. But they were the only ones he would wear, despite the fact that they were literally falling apart. As a result, I was ecstatic when I discovered these. I've bought him new boots before that didn't meet his expectations, but he adores these! I believe they are the same brand as his previous ones, but the old tag is so faded that I am unable to tell. Thank you so much for the pleasant surprise!.
br>I now enter my blind, remove my boots, and replace them with down booties. There will be no more numb feet! br>Excellent value for money. This year for Christmas, I bought a pair of these for my son.
These are fantastic, and I will treasure them!.
