Questions & Answers

The brackets are $38 on Amazon, and the grill is $77. Is it really worth the money ($179-)? $115 for a $77 grill modification?

It's a fantastic grill. Brackets are included. They were also fine on our pontoon.

Ours were installed according to the instructions, with the brackets flipped. It has a terrible slant to it, and the food is pushed to the back? What exactly is it that we are doing incorrectly?

Mine did the same thing, but only slightly bent the brackets; just be careful not to bend them too much.

Is it possible to buy just the bracket?

The brackets were sold separately at the time I bought the grill. You might be able to locate the brackets by searching online.

Is it possible to easily remove the grill and its mounts from the boat's mounts and use it on a flat surface, such as at a camp site?

Yes, it is possible to only remove two bolts.

On the boat, only eat sandwiches
3/5

For my new pontoon boat, I bought this grill after reading reviews. It came fully assembled, which is why the assembly rating is 5 stars. Aside from that, I was dissatisfied. On the boat, this was the first and last time I used it. It was very easy to get it to stick to the rails. Cooking hamburgers took an eternity, and grease splattered all over the boat's floor and sides. It does have a drip tray, but it is quite small. When I got home, I couldn't believe how much grease had accumulated given how much cooking I had done. The grill's base was a pain to clean. From now on, when I'm on the boat, I'll stick to sandwiches. I'd give it back if I could. If anyone is interested in buying mine, I will sell it for half the price, plus shipping and handling. Send me an e-mail if you have any questions.

INSTRUCTIONS - READ THEM CAREFULLY
5/5

On arrival, you must FLIP OVER. This is the best set-up I've ever seen! As the instructions state, DO NOT remove the brackets and flip them over. As a result, the grill had a slight 15-degree tilt toward the water when I first installed it. The grill sat perfectly flat after I flipped the brackets over as instructed. It's simple to set up and take down.

The grill is fantastic
5/5

We purchased the grill for our pontoon boat and are very pleased with it. We followed the step-by-step instructions and set up the grill exactly how it was described in the instructions. The grill will be level and perfectly attached to the boat if you follow the instructions. The food stayed on the grill without any issues. The grill heated up quickly and cooked the food perfectly; it also accommodated more food than we had anticipated. I would strongly advise anyone to purchase this grill. While on the lake, we had a great time grilling.

It's perfect for a Sun Tracker pontoon boat's rail
5/5

This item was delivered on time and in good condition. The modifications (the Arnall's grill brackets) are well-made and look/work well. The rivets that secure the grill to the base are secure and professional-looking. The mounts are padded where they come into contact with the boat rail, which helps to prevent wear on the rail. When the brackets are not attached to the boat, they fold up with the grill's legs and can be easily stored with it. The grill can also be used when the boat is not attached to it. On and off the boat, this grill and mounting system should make for some fantastic cookouts. This purchase has made me very happy.

READ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS GREAT GRILL! This grill is fantastic
5/5

READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED WITH THE PRODUCT! Because of the weight, if you don't flip the brackets over as directed, your grill will lean toward the water. Quick delivery and a fantastic product!.

Our pontoon will benefit greatly from this
5/5

This was a gift for my husband, and he loves it! We're completely satisfied with it after using it several times. br>br>As long as you clean it after each use, it's fairly simple to clean. Burgers, hot dogs, and foil packet potatoes are all cooked to perfection. We're excited to try a variety of other dishes because we spend so much time on our pontoon. We were able to fit 6 burgers on it without difficulty, and at one point, we were able to fit 8 on it while grilling with friends. br>br>Because the drip tray is so small, we used duct tape to secure a foil pan underneath it to catch the overflow. We don't want to pollute the water with grease, so this solution was ideal for us. It only matters when it comes to burgers, as hot dogs and most other foods aren't nearly as greasy. br>br>This is something we would strongly recommend for any boat with a square rail.

Although the grill is excellent, the rail mount is inadequate
3/5

This is the third time I've cooked with it. The heat is sufficient for a small grill (I keep an eye on things and move them around as they cook), and the grill is relatively simple to clean. The mount, on the other hand, is too small for my rails and will not fit. I can almost get a pin through one side (I use a spare coupler pin), but not the other. The mount, on the other hand, is extremely sturdy. This would be a 5 star rating if the rail fit.
