Compared to the best coffee makers on the market, the coffee press leaves nasty coffee grounds in the brewing process. In my second cup of coffee, there was a lot of ground coffee sludge left over. After I noticed that the coffee screen could be screwed to the plunger either upside down or right side up, I decided to modify it. The little slits were facing up when I installed it. Obviously, this is not the best idea, since this is the reason for the coffee grounds passing Adding the slits to the bottom and the writing up to the top will ensure that the press will work well and that no grounds will escape into the brew. The jetboil coffee press likely suffered from this error, which led to all of the criticism. I would like to request Jetboil to include an informational note in the coffee press to avoid further complaints. Hopefully everything will be OK now that the corrective warning has been released.

A few of these have been on my wish list for some time A new one has been purchased. I have complained to Campman (the seller) about the neoprene covers that caught fire the first time I used them. They ignored my messages about the incident. According to the manufacturer, this may be caused by lighting it, even if there is food or drink in it. What a genius! The rest of the system works as expected. The design is really neat and it's easy to use Quite fast at heating water. I actually find that cleaning the Java kit when camping to be a bit of a mess.
