On our Fleetwood Niagra pop-up in 2006, we use the tank. It connects to a standard Gray/Black water sewer hose and works perfectly.
I'm not sure about the height, but it's not more than 1. Approximately 5 to 2 inches I'd say less than one. The tank is only 7 3/4 high on all sides, so 5 could be less.
You could modify the included handle to fit over a tow ball depending on your handyness, but we didn't. Light-duty wheels don't appear to enjoy much of a trip behind a vehicle in the first place. Best of luck!
Mine had plastic wheels that quickly wore out.

If it leaks, send it back as soon as possible. I, on the other hand, failed to do so, and by the time I went camping and had to take it down to the dump station, the 3" cap/seal was leaking profusely. I tried a few different replacement caps and even borrowed one from someone who had the same tote as me. no luck. Returning now is too late. I'll have to experiment with it to see what I can come up with. It would have been perfect and deserving of 5 stars if it hadn't been for the damn leak.
Because I purchased a converted car, I purchased this tank. The grey water just ran onto the ground in a hauler trailer with a bathroom in front of it with a black water tank. My trailer is only about 11 inches off the ground, while most other portable tanks are at least 11 inches tall. This tank is ideal for capturing grey water (I roll it under the trailer and funnel it through the large 3 inch opening). br>br>Because my blackwater tank holds about 16 gallons, this 15 gallon tank will serve as a backup, allowing me to drain at least some of my blackwater into it in an emergency. br>br>The tank itself is well-made, but the wheels and axle are flimsy-looking. I wouldn't try to drag this to a dump site over long distances, but it can be pulled by hand over short distances and lifted into the back of a pickup truck by two people. The tank includes a metal handle that loops under the molded-in plastic handle and acts as an extension, allowing you to move the tank without bending over as much. The tank has a sticker near the handle warning not to tow it (that instruction is a little unclear, but I believe they mean that it should not be towed behind your car to a campground dump station like some other tanks). Overall, if you're looking for a low-cost option, this is the place to go. If you're looking for a reasonable (and one of the few) height tank, this is a good option. My only criticism is that the assembly instructions are ridiculously easy to follow. The axle assembly is a little flimsy, but just line it up over the groove in the plastic tank and push down very hard. Additionally, the 3 inch cap has a tether attached to it that looks like it's designed to be attached to the tank to prevent loss, but my tank doesn't have a matching attachment point.
Ours was once not, and when the pressure was released, the tank inflated like a balloon, popped the wheels off, and then returned to its original shape. It was a shambles, but it was entertaining nonetheless. br>br>The issue isn't so much with the tank as it is with the facilities at the state parks we visit. Grey water can be collected at the dump station or at elevated "towers" strewn about the campground. Do the math: when this is full, it's too heavy to lift to the towers, and the wheels aren't strong enough to do anything but roll it out from under the camper. The tank comes with a handle to make it easier to move around, but it would be much better if it could be towed to be dumped. Ours is no longer in use.
This is where I put the grey water from my grooming tub. It's perfect for my at-home salon and fits perfectly beneath my grooming tub.
The discharge pipes are at a reasonable height. With a 90° elbow at the blue tank, this looks fantastic. There's no need to fiddle with the hose. I've never seen a tank this low.
It had the potential to be a nice product, but it had a failed weld on the seam between the two halves, which caused it to leak on the first use. The concept gets five out of five stars. Manufacturing quality gets a one-star rating.
The seam was leaking black water, so I returned it for a refund. I got a new one, and it's been working fine.
The only drawback is that 15 gallons doesn't go very far in our older vintage trailers, which drain straight down rather than off to the side. However, this is a fantastic product. However, keep in mind that it is not towable.
