As a challenge survival kit, I think I'll use this most often. It is made from stainless steel as well as the bottle cup. The knife spoon and fork spork combination is one of my favorites. The pouch leaves me just enough room to add a few other items. It contains a roll of electric tape for first aid and other uses, and 50 feet of cordage that is the only item that is tied to the outside of the case. The case also contains fishing gear, a tiny flashlight, safety pins, and a harmonica. There is a bag of split peas in the bottle, plus iodine for first aid and water sterilization. In addition to the bottle, there is another bag of lentils and a pouch grocery bag. I can sterilize water by cooking a fraction of a meal while I sterilize it, such as lentils or split peas. This is a worthwhile investment even though it is quite expensive. It is a great deal for the money you spend. While the bottle, as seen in the picture, does not stand as tall as the pouch, which appears to be able to hold an empty 40 oz bottle and still have room for the stove and lid attached to It appears that the part of the lid that has contact with the water is made of stainless steel as well, so your water shouldn't get in contact with the plastic lid. I'm in love with Using this kit, it is possible to do so many things. I highly recommend this bottle as it is very high quality and does not leak at all. This kit has been on my wish list for months, and I finally grew up enough to invest in it. When packed up, I managed to squeeze in my Bahco folding saw and Bahco fixed blade knife as well as a couple packets of instant rice and oatmeal.
