Questions & Answers
Yes, it is. Having used this product on both the backpacking stoves from MSR Whisperlite and the classic Coleman propane stove, my Boy Scout troop and I found it to be quite useful. When I used the Coleman stove to boil the water in this pot, I found it to be much faster than usual. We found it to be only slightly problematic when the flames on the backpacking stove got a little high and burned the handles on the side, but that was more of a user mistake than a manufacturing problem.
Chinese manufacture is responsible for this item.
As far as we know, this is the only pot of this size to be

My troop is part of a Boy Scout troop, and I wanted to cook group meals better than we normally use aluminum pots while on backpacking trips. A JetBoil 5L pot is the perfect size for this job. Boiling water in the device takes a fraction of the time it would in a standard pot, resulting in a similar reduction in fuel consumption. I like how well-crafted it is and how lightweight it is as well. In addition to being a strainer, the plastic lid doubles as a bowl, which is ideal for Boy Scout outings, since the cooks nearly always prepare pasta. plastic, so it should not be used on a cast iron pan, as one critic complained. So far, I have purchased four of these items. The adult leaders unanimously agreed to buy more after seeing one used. Despite the price, they were all willing to pay it. Using our MSR Dragonfly liquid fuel stoves and JetBoil 5L pot, we use this item. As a result of a happy coincidence, the legs of the Dragonfly fit perfectly inside the flux ring of the JetBoil pot, forming a very stable support and an extremely efficient heat exchanger. Using MSR Whisperlite stoves also works, although it isn't quite as easy to center the pot at the edge of the stove as it is with Dragonfly stoves. Besides, we already own the MSR stoves, and in my opinion they're a better choice for group backpacking trips than Genesis stoves. There is no non-stick coating on the pot, but the anodized finish is very nice The chili is difficult to peel off, so keep an eye on the cook to make sure it doesn't burn!.
Base camps and glamping are the only options. As long as you don't need to wear a helmet, this thing keeps its distance from ground transportation in the form of In addition to its efficiency, this pot is an outstanding pot for cooking chili, fish chowder, etc. in community settings. When paired with the Base Camp stove, it is an excellent pot for feeding a large number of people at a time.
My only nitpick is this In addition, spills or drips created by food being ladled into bowls get caught in the folds and lower baffle, making the grill extremely difficult to clean unless you have a camp sink of the same size or access to a nearby water supply.
I highly recommend this product and it works very well with the MSR whisperlite. It is the perfect companion for our BSA crew Getting the product with a cracked lid was the only real con. Having experienced no help whatsoever from my vendor, I contacted JetBoil customer service and they immediately offered to send a replacement. The replacement also arrived in a timely fashion - a sure sign of JetBoil's excellent service. In the event that the lid of this pot becomes damaged, I also have the GSI outdoor halulite pot, which also has a lid that As the lid is made of halulite, which is more sturdy than nylon plastic, I'm using it for the time being, especially since I also placed an order for.
Quickly, the pot begins to heat up.
The accessories fit together.
It is easy to store and light.
IF the lid was made of aluminum, I would have given this five stars. As I was holding the 10" fry pan next to a cast iron skillet, the lid on the pan was used. lid of the cast iron skillet melted due to the heat. Other than that, it works similarly to their personal stoves in that it boils water rapidly and, while it does not lock, it rests securely on the Genesis stove.
I expected it to work.
