As the opposite of the spectrum, I find it hard to relate. I am 5'1" and weigh 120 pounds, so I found this pack to be very comfortable. Despite this being my third Berlestock pack, none of them cinch tight enough to keep my range finder tucked away. For that reason, I always have to tuck my range finder into the belt to keep things from shifting.
It does not cinch down far enough around my waist. I am about 5'1" and weigh 120 pounds (approx size 2). The fit is close, so I tuck the range finder into the waist band to make it tighter. There is one thing I don't like about the pack, but I really like everything else.
Microsuede is used to make it. My recent 2 week deer hunt in Arizona went well, and I saw good deer.

Since I am an Irishman and hunt in Scotland, I wasn't sure what other companies to use besides ICON or KUIU, which I always use and have loved for years. Due to my move to the United States, I had to leave my gear behind. The camping and survival gear at ICON and KUIU is, in my opinion, much better than what I got at REI and Columbia, which carries some of the best camping and survival gear around. Although, I was searching for a tactical gear for my self that was affordable, water resistant, quiet, and that allowed the storage of two rifles and ammo that had an internal frame. I stumbled upon Eberlestock at the last minute, when I was at my wits' end. The result was my friends, after the fact, laughing that I went on Amazon and saw that many packs were almost sold out, took a chance, and ordered the X2 for half the price of my old pack and was shocked. both an art work and a work of I'd really like this for grad school, I can wear it as the awesomeday pack. I love it. It's large and easy to use, and I appreciate how well the pack is arranged. It is considered to be a day pack by most. The majority of that is probably true, but if you go minimalist and push space, you can turn it into a 1-unit Get 2 nights for one price. I had bladder issues as well. Although the pack is great, it is on the small size, I am 6 feet tall and I can imagine it sitting uncomfortably for someone with a slightly larger frame. As for the pouches on the side, I haven't had much luck with my bladder(s). You have to work it into that compartment really well and may have to sacrifice some water depending on the size. The best bags, in my opinion, are always made by Eberlestock, but it can sometimes be quite costly to find that perfect.
surprised at how heavy the bag is, even though it says just around 4 lbs 12 ozs, but I thought it was There is no doubt, however, that it has many great features. I have a backpack whose seam bends towards my back where the waist pad is sewed into the bag at the bottom. As a result, I was able to feel the seam when I loaded the bag heavily, 70 pounds. The bag is beautiful in every other way, but if this seam gets in the way of my back or hips, I will return it, even if I love it in every other way. Though I hope that this seam won't cause an issue, the seam certainly could cause one. It's amazing what this device can do and what I found to be true is what has been advertised.
