Questions & Answers

Your neck feels like it gets pinched when you wear neck straps? According to reviews of the previous version, this is a good idea. This bag appears to have a similar issue. Was it fixed?

Is there a chance that someone made a mistake? One of my buddies tried out the previous version of the bag in a store a couple of weeks ago, and the neck strap worked its way into his neck. In the end it seems that the pack was defective, however, I loosened the shoulder straps a lot to get it on her back correctly, and the pack worked fine. I now have this newer version (much nicer), and I have never had any problems with it.

What is the reason this model is more expensive than the other model with 3000 Are there upgrades?

Changes have been made to the site The design has been revamped. There are differences between my 2019 model and my previous model with regard to the side pockets There are mesh pockets on each side of my shirt and they are shaped differently.

Can this pack fit in a backpacking daypack if I am going on a 9 day trip and intend to summit a few peaks throughout the trip?

I would say that it is a good pack, but it might not be as portable or lightweight as you would like. A substantial amount of work has been done. I think you'll find more suitable bags for your needs if you search for "packable day pack". You're going to have a great time!

What is the location of the opening for removing the water pack straw?

It has a pocket on the outside to hold a water bladder, and a hole on the inside where the tubing goes. Water tubes can be run either to the right or to the left due to the elastic straps holding them in place.

A backpack from Osprey called the Daylite
5/5

In this review of the Osprey Daylite backpack, I explain how it compares to carrying a purse for years and years (why don't women's It is so wonderful to be able to use my hands freely. I want to take a walk, but my fashionable backpack is a bit too nice, made of black leather, and a bit too small. When I travel, I must take a lot of gear for my two large dogs. Furthermore, I walk for an hour or two every day and want to be able to take with me all the things that I can't fit into the pockets of a jacket--water, sunglasses, my wallet, sunscreen, etc. The size, comfort, utility, and value of this bag were all factors that I considered. In my opinion, the size is perfect. The shape I was looking for was smaller, slouchy, and more relaxed A bag that resembled either a kid's school bag or a diaper bag was not what I sought. The majority of small packs look as if they were made for children, and many seem to be sized appropriately for One of the promises was straps and a waist belt that would fit adults. With my huge puffy winter coat and my thick sweater, it fits just right. Additionally, it is suitable for wearing with a tank top alone. There is an option to remove the belly strap so it is not just hanging there if it is not needed. Lastly, I really like the padded shoulder straps with loops to hold gear. Pictures don't seem to pick up on this well. Additionally, you could attach stuff to the compression straps on the outside of the bag with a carabiner. My favorite feature of the pack is that it can stand up on its own. A form is really just what it leans against but it really leans against something. Although the support material along the back keeps the shape, it is There are no sharp corners along the bottom edge because the product is oval shaped. Its strange handle on top gives me the option to either grab it or hang it. In addition to keeping it upright, the handle will allow me to roll it on the side of my A very good amount of ventilation is provided in the back. As with the straps, it is made of a rugged mesh. Despite its small size, the whistle on the strap is quite * The pockets on the sides have a really nice design. They can hold a 500ml water bottle plus my phone and hand sanitizer, and they're actually somewhat opaque so I can see everything. I think it's stretchy material of high quality that will hold up well. I find that the side pockets look better when empty because the bulge doesn’t appear when they're full. My water bottle is not one of those heavy, gigantic ones (Don't judge me. If you used the compression strap to hold the top, you could hold something tall and thin like a tripod. There are some really nice zipper pulls at this store. While walking in the COLD weather, my hands are either covered in bulky gloves or numb most of the time. Their ease of use makes them easy to grab. There is a bit of top-heavy feeling to the front compartment if it is loaded As long as it's equally heavy, nothing will go wrong if you put something heavy inside the main compartment. With that being said, I don't mind. In the rear, there is a compartment that serves as a place to put a small-sized bag If you have a laptop or tablet, or if you have a water bladder, you should bring it. A hole is at the top of the tube where it can be inserted. The one I used was a bath bomb, so I do not know if it is effective. I'm able to use it with my Microsoft Surface tablet without affecting its size. For walking around the store with just the shoulder straps (or on one shoulder), I feel good on it and comfortable with it. BRACE THE CHEST STRAP IN ORDER TO EXPERIENCE THE BEST FEELING. As a result, the shoulder straps are pulled in a bit and the bag hangs differently. There are no problems adjusting all the straps. The bag doesn't move around at all on my back if I use the belly strap at my natural waist. It is really necessary to tuck in the shoulder straps tight. It helps keep it from bouncing on my hips if I strap it around the hips. It was easy to use the neck handle. Five foot seven inches tall (I am). In the pattern I got the green/teal color. Despite not being overly loud, it's very pretty and bright. With a floral pattern almost, it may be a bit too feminine for some guys. Because the inside of the bag is light colored, you can see well down to the bottom. (Short bags with dark interiors are my pet peeve. )

Lastly, I love the Osprey warranty that says that if it breaks, you pay to ship it to them, they fix it or replace it, and then they pay to send it back to you. Of course, there are limits. There will be no way to fix it if my dog eats If the seam opens up with heavy use or the fabric wears out, they will. There were a lot of packs to choose from, and most of them were cheaper. This bag was not cheap compared to similar ones on Amazon, but I'd rather spend the money once and get a bag I will use for a long time. After using a pair of boots for less than a month, a lot of seams were coming apart. AFTER ONE MONTH OF USE I paid full price for the bag, the same price that was listed on the Osprey website. This review is still valid, but I would like to point out that the ventilated back is my favorite feature of this backpack. It is awesome to use this pack when it is hot and humid outside. It is convenient to have a gap where my back and the pack meet that allows This is such a comfortable seat! One of the biggest negatives is that the outside pocket towards the middle of the pack only reaches halfway down. Whenever I try to get to something in there, the book hangs awkwardly open causing all the contents to spill. Putting my wallet in the large area causes it to sink to the bottom every time.

That seems to work A small pack like this is just right for everyday use and for taking along with me when I travel
5/5

My pet peeves are not in it, and it has many nice features. There are no gaps between the shoulder straps and the back Overly puffy ones are not my cup of tea. It makes me happy that there are no annoying storm flaps to get stuck in the zippers because I live in a dry place. There are pockets on the side for water bottles, but they are not deep enough to hold them. If I have to run through airports, I can remove a thin waist belt so it won't interfere with my movement. A sternum strap that can be adjusted It makes it easier for me to see my stuff when it's light colored. There is just enough organization within the pack. It is big enough to fit just what you need plus a tablet, lunch, jacket, and extra clothes. One thing I could do without is the compression straps (that can be used to attach the bag to a backpack) but they do not obstruct the zips and can be left undone and tucked into the pockets on the sides. Furthermore, there is a plus Yellow is a color that I really like.

This bag is ruined by the stupid handle
3/5

It would be a very nice bag, but that dumb handle design ruins it all. There is just something uncomfortable about it. The back of it rubs against yours, and there is no reason for it to be designed that way. In your opinion, what is wrong with the current backpack design? I do not understand why this silly design has been adopted. Does anyone out there have the experience and realize that this is not as comfortable as a normal bag? Although it is only good for the purpose it was intended for, it is a nice bag. It doesn't fit well and I'm sending it back. There are plenty of other bags that fit well and don't cause discomfort.

I like the Day Pack very much
5/5

As described, the pack has arrived in perfect condition. Stylish and lightweight, this sweater makes a great addition to any wardrobe. When hiking, the pack has managed to keep me dry, despite some sweat on my back. A must-have when it comes to new versions. Only one complaint was found in many reviews for the slanted compartments on the sides of the back pack to hold water bottles. With its straight top and nice, deep pockets, the new version is great. Retaining my bottles has never been a problem.

There is pressure on the lower neck and upper back from the "grab handle

" The bag is nice, although it felt odd when I first put it on. However, once I got used to it, it is fantastic.

This is not meant for use in the snow or in heavy outdoor activities
4/5

Ideal for hiking because it is lightweight and breathable. This bag won't be strong enough to hold heavy snow shovels, or use outdoors where it will be dragged. As a backpack, it is just like any other. Canvases are not durable when they are made of fabric. The feel of polyester is closer to lambswool. The bag does not have a compartment for a hydration bladder tube or straps. It is not ideal for snowboarding because the backpack is too wide to fit on a lift comfortably, and there are no straps to constrict the backpack to a smaller size. As a result of these factors, I had to return home.

The price was totally worth it
5/5

Basically, I bought it as a lightweight, hybrid pack that I could use for short hikes and travel, without looking too outdoorsy so I wouldn't feel out of place around town. The pack is so comfortable that I have been able to replace my regular hiking pack with it. Although the pack is compact, it is still big enough to carry all the gear I need for a day hike. The only thing I wish it had was a wider or padded hip strap. Several of the narrow straps dig into my sides, and it may be convenient to have a small pocket at the front. The rest of the pack is very good.
