How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
The first layer is a soft foam with an absorbent coating (blue contact layer) that wicks away moisture and aids in odor control.
Layer 2 is a short stretch compression layer with adjustable compression levels that can be torn by hand.
Both layers are latex-free and bond together when applied, ensuring that the system remains in place.
For patient comfort and ease of movement under clothing and on bed sheets, a nylon stocking is included to apply over the finished dressing.
Patients will be more compliant if the device is comfortable and light.

Is this supposed to stay on for a few days or is it supposed to come off every day and be re-applied? usable? Thank you very much. ?

For a few days, it remains inside. Depending on the medical condition of the patient.

What is the total number of wraps in the box for each color? It isn't stated. ?

In the box, there is one of each color wrap.

How much material would be required to wrap two legs and feet? Is a single kit sufficient?

It also depends on the extent to which your legs are swollen. I can use one box per leg if my legs are not swollen, but I must use two boxes per leg if they are swollen.

Not to be used on wounds that are heavily leaking
4/5

I had to buy this while we waited for VA appointments to be set up when my father moved in with me because he has large vascular wounds with heavy leaking (the actual medical terms escape me at the moment). This may work for you if you have a simple large wound that needs to be covered but doesn't have a lot of fluid. Absorption is a problem with the foam. Everything is in the box as it should be, and the overall quality is excellent. However, if you have a lot of fluid (from blood or other inflammation-related fluids), Profore is a better option. If your insurance or doctor does not cover it, if you can afford it, go ahead and get it. The healing my father and I have witnessed, in addition to the calcium alginate, puts this far ahead of Coflex. br>br>As part of the wrapping process, Coflex and Profore both use a product called Coband. This is a tourniquet, according to our research. When using it, pay attention to the advice of your doctor, family member, or patient. If they say it's too tight, it's probably true. It has the potential to cut off blood flow, causing more harm than good. It makes no difference what kind of instructions you got about how tight it should be. The tightness is merely a suggestion; the only reason to cut off blood flow to a wound is if it is bleeding profusely and will result in death within minutes. The significance of these final sections cannot be overstated.

The product is excellent, but it is overpriced
5/5

This was purchased for my sore leg, which had been wrapped in the same materials by a home nurse. Was exactly what we needed, but the price was not to our liking.

After a year of experimenting with various options, including the
5/5

My wounds are starting to heal after a year of experimenting with various methods, including the oil snake oil salesman. I've been using it for about a month now, and the three wounds are healing nicely. I'm aware that this item is in short supply both here and on the internet. But if you can get it, it's well worth the money.

The same goes for wound healing

For a fraction of the cost, this is exactly what was used in wound care.
