This is a must-have for every home first aid kit and vehicle first aid kit, according to a former first responder with more than 50 years of experience. Additionally, you should always buy multiples so that if you need to use one, you have a backup until you can reorder.
I purchased these after having surgery and developing a blood clot, which necessitated the use of a blood thinner until the clot was gone. Because I don't clot well if I get a laceration, I wanted to keep one in each car in case of an accident. br>br>I keep clotting agent (powder) in our first-aid kits, along with the usual gauze and other supplies, but I saw these and thought they might be useful. I have no intention of using them, but knowing that they are available in the event that I do is comforting. br>br>I won't be taking the blood thinner for a long time, but I'll keep these in the car. They're a fantastic tool that the Israelis invented and have proven to be effective on the battlefield. These aren't made in Israel, but I'm confident that they'll suffice, and the price is reasonable, especially for a small amount of insurance. in case something goes wrong br>br>These bandages, in my opinion, are an excellent addition to any well-stocked first-aid kit. I hope I never have to use them on myself or anyone else, but knowing they're in the car gives me peace of mind if I need assistance or if I can assist another driver in an accident until first responders arrive.
I have not had the opportunity to use these, but I purchased two for my medic pack in the trunk of my car, which I started when I began carrying a firearm, because you never know when a life or death situation may arise, or when traffic accidents may occur, and it would be nice to have these on hand before medics arrive.
Mine weren't vacuum-sealed because they were inexpensive. I opened the bag and removed the pair, which were neither vacuum packed nor sealed when packed. I went back and purchased the Swiss versions, hoping that they were sealed and not made in China.
Home, IFAK, vehicle, and first-aid kits are all available. Isn't it better to have something than to not have it? Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please Also, make sure to check the expiration dates on all of your medications!.
It's preferable to have it but not require it than to require it but lack it. We didn't have to use it because our trip was a success. During our journey, the packaging held up admirably.
I'm glad I have this in my first-aid kit in case I get hurt in a hurricane or car accident. If you watch one of the videos, you'll see how simple it is to use.
