Questions & Answers

These have a striking resemblance to the Platypus bite valves. Is there a need for an adapter or are these systems interchangeable?

I have both, and the bite valves will fit on either system because the tubes for the Platypus and Camelbak systems are the same size.

Are these compatible with the Mini Mule Camelsacks for children?

I bought these for my sons, and they're fantastic.

Do these work on the podium bottles from Camelbak?

No, I do not believe that is true. These attach to the camelbak tube's end.

Is it easier to bite these valves than regular Camelbak valves? , the ones that came packaged with the factory backpack?

These valves are the same as those found on a standard camelbak setup.

The end that slides onto the tube is just a smidgeon narrower than the bite valve that came with my Camelbak (which is at least 10-fold narrower). (12 years of age). As a result, the fit is a little tighter. I purchased these to pair with some HydraPak softflasks (because the bite valves they use have a very narrow opening, making drinking from them more difficult). Softflasks are what I'm using to store gel in my case - The stock bite valve is *extremely* difficult to get through. These Camelbak valves are extremely difficult to install on Hydrapak bottles - However, they'll be able to get on there if they stretch far enough. These valves make getting gel (or water) out of the bottles a lot easier. In addition - br>br> The "bite" part of the valve's opening isn't as big as it was on my 12-inch valve. year- valve from an old bit I did, however, bring a utility knife (a razor blade or a pocket knife would suffice) with me. When we go hiking, I carry my toddler in my backpack, and we share my camelback's water. She chews on the valve a lot. These are an excellent substitute. She hasn't even tried to pierce them! I'm not sure if these are thicker than the camelback's original valves, but I'm happy with them!.

Note: These are the exact same size as the originals. br>I recommend purchasing these because they last a long time and changing the color is fun! br>It takes a lot of force to get it on, but once it's on, it stays put and doesn't fall off or loosen up. br>It comes highly recommended.

My dog chewed up the original bite valve, so I needed to replace it

I was concerned about the quality of the off-brand replacements and wanted to have some on hand in case something went wrong. So I ordered these to replace my old valves. On my CamelBak L, it fit perfectly at the end of the tube. and stayed put for a long time. So far, everything has gone well!.

I've only had these for a little over a year and I'm on my third; the orange one is leaking like crazy and the green one is tearing. I wasn't expecting the quality of a camelbak.
