Do not upload photos of your firearms to the internet. It's something you're getting from Amazon. If you don't like it, send it back. They are, however, a significant improvement in terms of both appearance and functionality.
Yes, I have a ten-year-old 4595 that works just fine.
What do you mean by your stock one? Are you referring to the one that comes already attached to it and is too short? If it came with it, how would that be? I bought this and installed it on my 45 caliber carbine. There was no need for any additional bolts or screws because the rifle fit perfectly. Just make sure the numbers on your high point match the slide finger grip you're buying because there are different sizes for different types of high points, such as the 40, 45, and 9 mm, so make sure you get the right one.

Aluminum, with a nice paint job and precise tolerances. To install, you'll need an 8mm socket. It's a lot easier to grasp than the factory CH, and it's not going to eat my fingers up.
The stock charging handle on my Hi-Tec didn't bother me at all. However, the Point 995TS 9mm carbine sounded like a good idea. Perhaps one of the other fixed handle styles would have been a better fit for my needs. This is purely a matter of personal preference; however, it is well-known. It's handcrafted, but it's still just a scrap of metal. I'm not fond of what I consider to be a sloppy feel to the way it free-forms. Some people may prefer this to a fixed handle because of the wheels on the bolt that holds it together. So it's adequate for what it is, but it's not for me. Because it's not its fault, I'll give it four stars.
My index finger isn't shredded to bits by this charging handle. It's nice, but I keep tightening the charging screw with my index finger (don't loctite the charging handle screw because it must be removed to remove the dust cover).
When I contacted the seller, he promptly sent me a replacement part, demonstrating excellent customer service. The part was a perfect fit for my Hipoint 995. The charge handle is a significant improvement over the factory model.
The product's design is fantastic, it works flawlessly, and it outperforms the original by a long shot. I wanted to contact the manufacturer directly because there was a minor flaw in the finish, and I didn't want him to get a strike from Amazon. During this process, we (2 manufacturers and myself) discovered that Amazon had used one manufacturer's name on another's product without either party's knowledge. Amazon, get your act together. Keep an eye out for the sold and shipped by names, as the brand name appears to be assigned at random.
This was supposed to be the original charging handle. It has a much better feel to it, and it is far more useful. And it's a lot more attractive than the original.
The 995 now has a great addition. It was a lot more comfortable and posative, but it took a long time to arrive due to the USPS. However, neither the seller nor Amazon were responsible for this. The hassle was well worth it.
HiPoint supplied a skinny little handle, and this is a perfect replacement for it. br>It's a lot less difficult this way. a better fit than the original br>I need to add some thread lock so I don't have to keep tightening the bolt (this is a HiPoint issue, not a product issue. br>Well worth the small amount of $$$.
