Product Description

It fits nearly any type of bike It can transport disc brakes, thru axles, and full suspension bikes but it cannot accommodate wheels or tires larger than 3 inches.
With FrontLoader, you can easily load your bike on this wheel mount fully assembled it holds your bike upright while you bolt it down
A rack with a crossbar width of 16" to 48" is required. It is compatible with Yakima round, square, factory or aerodynamic crossbars. It is fully assembled out of the box and requires no tools for installation.
There is no frame contact. FrontLoader holds the bike by both wheels. Because there is no frame contact, this is an excellent option for carbon fiber and custom paint jobs.

Questions & Answers

The frontloader and fairing both need to be installed at the same time, can you?

What you mean is not clear to me. Each unit can easily be clamped to cross bars as it is one piece. Once in place, it is extremely easy to secure my bike. I use this carrier to get a fourth bike onto my car (3 on the I like it very much. Even though it can be a bit challenging if the bike is heavy to get up on the roof by yourself, the process is of a simple nature otherwise. It has to be installed backwards to get proper clearance from the back hatch, as someone else mentioned.

What is the approximate number of SKS lock cores that I will need to install ?

Terra, you will need to lock the bike to the rack and the rack to the truck. One lock is used to lock the bike to the rack and the other one is used to lock the rack to the truck. RACK Attack thanks you for your support

How much does it weigh? Is it going to fit the ?

In order for the ForkLift to work with a Prius V, a base rack (Crossbar) must be As far as we know, there are no known issues that could prevent the For specific restrictions regarding weight and carrying capacity, please refer to the rack manufacturer's specifications.

This rack is designed to accommodate a Fat Bike with four wheels. It is recommended to use tires that are 5" wide. Our VW TiguanR has the same cross braces as a Chevy Cruze and a VW TiguanR, so should we purchase those from VW and Chevy or Yakima?

Unfortunately, a fat bike won't fit in the parking lot. I'm using Ford factory cross bars, and they should work with a lot of aftermarket

There's a good chance it will be stolen, but it works
3/5

As soon as my rack arrived, I was ecstatic. After several trips in my hatchback, I was tired of putting my bike there. It mounts very easily and holds the bike very securely, but the biggest problem I have with it and why I am only giving it three stars is that it does not come with You want me to shell out an additional $40 for a pair of locks on a rack I already paid more than 200 dollars for? There is no way that could be true. Because of the two large wingnut style attachment points on the unit, it can be taken off a set of bars in about a minute or less. Put a locking core in there instead of being cheap. In case you're still interested, it has a good wheel adjustment and can fit tires as small as 26" and as large as 29". The number I have set is I use a size 5 like the one I have on my bike and it fits my front tire very well. I drove the bike around for about 50 miles after I got it, and it did not move. In addition to fitting on VW bars, the rack also has a good fit.

The rack is great and a must-have if you have carbon fiber forks
5/5

Separately order the lock if you haven't already done so. I think this rack is fantastic. All types of bikes will be able to use it With the adjustable tire size, you can set it to suit your tire size.

You don't have to remove the front wheel from the bike to load the sidecar it does not clamp onto the fork (which is ideal for carbon fiber fork bikes). When the rack is installed on your car, it comes with built-in cable locks so you can secure your bike. No lock can keep a master thief out - unless it's a combination lock There's a guard on the front of your bike so an amateur can't grab it and steal your bike. The rack, however, does not come with the lock's core (the piece where you insert the key) that is required for the lock to Here is the Amazon link to buy the core. Please join us!.

I find this to be very This is really an innovative idea, which YakIMA has come up with
4/5

My vehicle is a Volvo SUV, and I own an above-average mountain bike. So, while researching bike racks for my vehicle, I recently decided to purchase a bike rack. In the long run, I couldn't keep the bike in the trunk with my seatbacks down, the tire off, and the bike in the trunk. My initial plan was to buy a rear loading exterior mount, and then I'd have my problem Several people have complained about paint wear, scratches, and rust created from the rubber coating on the hooks touching the paint on their vehicles. Several items on my list became obsolete with the removal of a rear mount.

Unfortunately, my vehicle does not have a tow bar, but I considered In relation to its value, it was not extremely expensive, but I did not want to spend more than $600 on installation, and another $200 on a rear bike rack that attached to the

Last but not least, I considered roof mounting. There were many that were flimsy or required the wheel to be removed. Putting the bike in the trunk was barely a step up from that. That's why I kept searching. The following is a translation of the Japanese term YAKIMA There are two types of front loader wheels When I searched for the product, I found On Mount Upright Bike Carrier for Roof Racks. Reviewers found the locking mechanism to be intriguing, and the reviews were generally positive. * * * * The product was delivered on time, in good condition, and in perfect condition. Assembly has been completed in 99% of cases. Based on your location, you may be able to use it right out of the box, but I recommend purchasing The SKS Lock Cores Car Rack System Components are manufactured by SKS. A lock slot and a storage space are on this rack. You can install the locks easily and set them up so you can operate both locks with a single key. There isn't much to it when it comes to roofing. A difficult part is aligning the cross bar of your vehicle correctly so that it lines up with the corners. There is nothing to worry about with this rack. There is a mountain bike I own that is larger than the one I ride. It has a 19-inch frame and 29-inch This rack handled it perfectly, and I did not have any trouble securing it to the bike path as I drove. In conclusion, we have the following cons In spite of the nice locks, they are not very secure. There is a thin cable lock attached to the second bar to protect your bike, and is easily cut with wire snips. This will prevent the theft of your YAKIMA roof rack for your bike. intend to leave your bike on the roof of your house with an expensive bike, you probably need a more expensive bike lock. It's time to get your bike on As I mentioned, I drive a service vehicle. The bike I lift over my head is 100 pounds, but I am six feet tall, train daily, and can easily lift it. Although it may take a little practice to lift the bike onto the rack, it is possible. For those who are smaller and/or have trouble standing on a ladder, a step stool might be necessary for loading their bikes. My SUV comes with a rear door that I need to open, and I have to step on the sill to load my bike. Even with my size advantage, I have to open the door. It's clearance time! The roof of your house has a bike. It is important to remember that there are a few extra feet atop my car when it is in use. A rack like this might not be the best choice for forgetful individuals. Some people drive home on their phones and attempt to pull into their garage with a bike on the roof while on their phones. Oh no! I am satisfied with the purchase as a whole. During the review period, I will update my review if circumstances change. I wish you all a safe and enjoyable day on the road!.
