The BLUE TUBE is pitted against the RED TUBE. The difference between BLACK TUBE and WHITE TUBE is negligible. EXACTLY THE SAME SUPERIOR CHAFFING PROTECTION! The only difference between the two is the graphics on the packaging and the scent. We increased the diameter to make it easier to squeeze out the product, and we claim they can be used interchangeably. For the US Special Forces, we designed the Black tube. Extreme conditions in all temperatures will not be a problem for this tough formula.

NOT a Stick - Salty Britches was created to be squeezed from a tube and applied head to toe without fear of contamination. In between their thighs and underarms is where the majority of people use it. Are you at an event with a friend who needs anti-chafing protection? Without the yuck factor, share with a friend! If necessary, the goal is for everyone in the family or group to use the tube.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU APPLY - This is a matter of personal taste. Salty Britches is extremely durable, so it will stay on your skin for a long time. It doesn't come off, melt, or turn mushy. Depending on the activity, one application should last for several hours even in water. Salty Britches will last for a long time, so you won't be distracted by itchy skin.

NOT A LUBE - Salty Britches is not a lubricant of any kind. Instead, it forms a skin barrier by binding to the epidermis. It will not obstruct bikers' movements, for example. It protects the skin from friction breakdown without making it greasy. There is no sticky residue on the board for surfers, and no greasy residue on the seats for bikers.

ALL NATURAL - Salty Britches is primarily made of natural ingredients. We don't make this claim because the product contains petrolatum and wax, and we've found that all-natural products don't hold up well in salt water or extreme conditions. Our formula combines humectants, emollients, and occlusives to form a skin barrier that protects while not clogging the pores. We needed a product that could stand up to repeated use.

This stuff was actually quite effective. But it did make me think of A. D diaper ointment ran out, and it didn't take long between me, my daughter, both of my sons, and one of their female friends. the old man who once used it, the A By the time we got to the end of our beach vacation, I had settled on the letter D. But, for the time being, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. I don't recall the price, but I recall thinking, "Damn, that's a lot of money for such a small bottle," which was confirmed once I realized it was nearly identical to the A. I already had some D diaper ointment. I could have just used instead if I had realized what was going on, but I'm giving it four stars because my son liked it a lot and it did exactly what it was supposed to do.

To some extent, it works

Taking part in my first marathon I always seem to get a new chafe mark after a sweaty run. I purchased this, and it does work to some extent. I just ran 20 miles and was still chafing from this product; not as much as if I hadn't used it, but enough to rub off from all my sweat. I'll finish the bottle because it works in some ways, but I won't buy it again because it doesn't do its job completely. Petroleum-based was thought to be good, but even that doesn't hold up to a sweaty run. It was, however, worthwhile to give it a shot.

So far, everything has gone well. It's something I've used a few times on semi-serious occasions. It worked well in humid conditions. After a longer hike, I'll return and post an update here.

products that cause chafing THIS IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA! I recently spent a week at the beach in swimsuits, skirts, dresses, shorts, and skorts, both in and out of the water. Even after shaving the bikini lines and thighs, there is no chafing or irritation. This stuff is incredible!.
