Although the DZNuts are not as thick as the Chamois Butt'r, I still use them. I use both in the same way, on the tops of my inner thighs, next to and on my nether region, and directly on the chamois. I use a lot of it; I don't cut corners because it leads to chafing.
This is not for you if you don't like Assos. It's as if there's something humming on my lady parts. It appeals to my tastes. Some people might not agree. Because the product claims to not do it, it's possible that the formula has changed. Antibacterial properties: Reduces itching, prickling, and discomfortbr> Strengthens natural biological skin defenses and promotes healing in previously damaged skinbr> Moisture absorbing polymers isolate excess moisture, protecting delicate skinbr> Same probiotics complexbr> 4- Provides the same level of protection as DZNuts pro chamois cream without the tingling sensation.br> tube
This should be used to PREVENT chafing in the underarm area. Because it contains menthol, it will cause a tingling sensation when applied to an open wound. This isn't the best way to treat a wound. It doesn't bother me, but your level of discomfort may differ significantly from mine. I used a small amount on a bra-chafe mid-way through the day. I was able to run without any issues.
This summer, I rediscovered the first tube I purchased eight years ago and used it. Everything is still fine. I'm not sure what the shelf life is on this one, but it was still in great shape when I found it. Every few years or so, I go through a tube. One is in my car, and the other is near my home gym.

Yes, a small amount of menthol, which is a natural analgesic, gives it a slight tingle. br>br>I absolutely adore this: It had no effect on the chemistry of my middle-aged body. I ride for 1 hour up and down canyons. There is no need to reapply after four hours. I am PAIN FREE for the first time since returning from my long rides. I ride a road bike with a tiny seat that looks more like a torture weapon than a bike seat, and it has ZERO padding. I ride in triathlon shorts (which have less padding) to add to the fun. On that note, ZOOT makes the best tri short. ) I spread this cream on my toast like butter: liberally all over the outside and insist on points of contact (I'm talking about the body, not the toast. ) WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW I wish someone had informed me about this earlier. dznuts (dzkittie), THANK YOU SO MUCH. br>br>As others have mentioned, I use it when I start to feel irritated. Example: wearing a pair of two-size-too-small jeans that look like they belong on a giant doll My point is that I use it for minor irritation even when I am not cycling. br>br>If you're not a fan of menthol, this is not for you. Also avoid using butter. br>br>You prefer tingling that goes away quickly and pain-free rides (or wearing your 80s jeans): This is something you're going to adore. br>br>I hope that this information is useful. The seller and Amazon provided exceptional service. Thank you for taking on this responsibility.
I was desperate for something better than Vaseline as a professional horse rider with such bad genital chafing that it was affecting both my ability to ride well and my general comforter after leaving the barn, and this stuff absolutely delivered. It has a gentle cooling/tingling sensation, a light but pleasant scent, and aids in the relief of existing damage as well as the prevention of further wear and tear. Yes, it's more expensive than Vaseline, but I prefer the more sanitary squeeze bottle, and while I still have to reapply every few rides, it doesn't leave the same wet feeling as Vaseline, the effect is better and lasts longer, and it doesn't leave those embarrassing grease stains around the crotch of my pants like Vaseline did. br>br>I use it all over my privates, and it's reduced my labia chafing from a burning, stinging pain to a non-existent chafing. existent. I would strongly advise anyone who is uncomfortable in the saddle, even if it isn't that bad, to try this. You only require a small amount, and you are entitled to a life free of genital chafing.
After trying 'butt butter,' this is the only one I've used. Despite the fact that it was slightly more expensive, I was persuaded by personal recommendations from other female cyclists, as well as the fact that it was antibacterial-free. This is fantastic for sores. br>br>The following are the first things that came to mind: br> A mentholated tingly sensationbr> Underwhelming scent, light and pleasant (NOT overpowering)br> Has no effect on the pH of the female unmentionable area (HUGE DEAL! )br> Ideal for when you aren't cycling and you have sores. (It appears to reduce inflammation, itching, and infection-causing bacteria. ) NO'greasy' residuebr> Good for 10-daysbr> br>br>Con: 50 mile ridesbr>br>
- For longer rides, you may need to reapply because it doesn't seem to last as long as butt butter. (I'm also a new cyclist, so I'm not sure if I'm applying enough for my needs. ).
I recently began biking to work and have increased my weekly mileage from 15 to 70 miles. To prepare, I purchased this item as well as a few other bike shorts. This cream is a must-have for me. My bits are safe, and Noxema is still alive. I'm prone to groin cysts (TMI, but it's a thing), and this keeps them at bay - Friction is reduced, chafing is avoided, and bacteria is not given a happy home. If I forget to apply it before my ride, I use a post-ride shower to relieve any chafing or discomfort.
I'm a late-50s female cyclist who averages 150 miles per week on the bike. Over the years, I've always struggled with chaffing. I had heard of this product for men but had no idea there was a female version, so I decided to give it a try based on the reviews here. It's great for chamois and nether regions, and it's come in handy on long rides. I recently used it to complete a 65-mile road ride and found it to be surprisingly comfortable. A cooling sensation is felt on the skin, which I found to be pleasant, but everyone's experience is different. The product is as advertised, and I now take it with me on every ride.
ass is capable of. Before Ragbrai last year, I bought this for my girlfriend. She'd only been riding for about a month when this happened. A lot of people don't realize how important saddle-back riding is. Protect that undercarriage! Ass can do a lot to make your rides a pain and ruin the fun, so keep it safe! At first, I had to remind her to use it, but by the second day of the ride across Iowa, she was making sure she had enough. Even though we were putting on more miles the next day, it actually helped clear up some of the first day's wear and tear. I have the one for dudes and I love it, and I'm sure she won't be riding much this season if she doesn't have hers.
So far, everything has gone well. br>I ordered this right away after a highly unpleasant situation in my nether regions erupted after a 30 mile ride; it wasn't a particularly tumultuous ride, but it was hot. I didn't use any kind of moisturizer. br>Bliss helped with saddle sores, which was a rookie move. Road rash is a common occurrence that responds well to treatment. During this healing period, I've only ridden for short distances. br>I'll probably update after a long ride with a more thorough assessment of its pre-ride characteristics. br>br>Smell is mildbr>Very light tingly sensation from the tea treebr>Thickness is excellentbr>br>Plant-based The importance of being cruelty-free cannot be overstated. 🆒.
I was hoping to like this product because some of my friends swear by it. But I tried it twice and got a rash both times. It's not the ideal location for a rash. It provided the usual increase in lubricity that any chamois cream should provide (hence the two stars), but the additional negative side effect was less than pleasant. I was surprised to find no other reviewers who had the same problem. In the past, I've had no problems with other chamois creams.
