Questions & Answers
It does not have a scent.
I've been using this stuff for four years, but I don't think anyone can give a precise answer to that question because how much and how often you use it will vary from person to person. I'd only use it on my toes to avoid blisters, for example. In any case, I'd recommend taking two of them on the trip. Alternatively, if it's for the shoes/socks, you could look into 2Toms powder.
It should, in my opinion, be left on. I used to run before work, and even after showering and working 8 hours, I could still go for a run in the evening without chafing. Body Glide is superior to it.
I've mostly used it as a waist belt and around the contact points of running shorts (sweat runs down), as it's antibacterial and prevents hot spots. Other runners I know use it whenever they have a Camelbak strap running along their ribcage. Basically, the lubricating and antibacterial properties of this product can prevent a mountain of pain for anything that rubs thousands of times over the course of a half marathon or more, or just on a really hot day.

I've tried body glide, but it hasn't worked for me. I didn't like how quickly it wore off and how often I had to reapply it, so I bought this as a substitute, and I'd give it a five-star rating for product effectiveness for its intended purpose. It lasted a lot longer without having to be reapplied. It was a little slimy when I applied it, and I had an issue with it getting onto a cotton dress, where it appears to have stained it (almost like a "grease spot"). Because I don't want it to ruin my clothes, I don't like it (minus one star). In addition, I did not believe the container would last very long for the price. (minus another star) It appears to have emptied in a very short period of time.
I assumed it was because my shoes never fit well because I have very narrow feet (AAAA with a 6A heel). I had a trip planned that would require me to walk for six hours. On most days, I run 8 miles. I had plenty of bandaids on hand, but it occurred to me that I should look up "blister prevention" on the internet. " I came across a product called 2Toms SportShield, which I used on my feet in the areas where blisters were always present. For each application, I used only a few 2Toms. It's not necessary to use a lot of it; just a smidgeon sufficed. ENGO Blister Prevention Patches, which are cut to size and applied to the inside of the shoe, are another product I discovered. Every morning, I put Blister Prevention Patches on my shoes and used 2Toms on each foot. I went on a ten-day trip and didn't get a single blister! I'm never going to be without these items again.
I'm a plus-one type of person. In the summer, I prefer to keep cool by wearing skirts and dresses. My thighs rub and cause chaffing, which is a problem. I tried slip shorts before, but I didn't want to wear another layer of clothing, so I went with Sport Shield. It applies smoothly and has a pleasant feel to it. It didn't leave any stains or wet marks on my clothes, which I was worried about. It lasts approximately three minutes. I usually tuck the bottle into my purse four hours before I need to reapply.
br>br>I literally have to pull this greasy stick out of my bag and reapply it constantly, which covers the packing and my hands in the product. It's a roll-on, despite the fact that it's a roll-on. br>br>Body Glide, Squirrels Nut Butter (hey, this stuff isn't named after me! ), and KT Performance's Chafe Safe (the first two being sticks and the last towelettes) are all superior. The Anti-Man Company is a group of men who have formed a company to fight against the Chafing cream is a good middle ground that is both effective and enjoyable to use. (It also has a wonderful scent. ) )br>br>And while we're on the subject of towelettes, I made the mistake of buying Sport Shield towelettes. It's also quite greasy, but because you have to unfold and apply it with your hands, it basically makes your hands slick all the time (or you could wipe your hands on your clothes and stain them? )br>br>In a nutshell, I'm both surprised and suspicious that this has received such positive feedback. I'm no stranger to these kinds of products; I've tried a lot of them, and this one is by far the worst. If none of the above appeals to you, don't buy it. If that's the case, you'll be overjoyed. in addition to being oily It's so oily. Unless you pour this disgusting substance on yourself all day, you'll still be chafing. br>br> Also, for some reason, the applicator now stinks like moldy gym socks. I'm serious. Yes, I shower every day and usually before applying this, so what's the problem?.
In Belize and Guatemala, this stuff literally saved my life. For my trip, I found some good walking sandals, but I was concerned about blisters because my feet have always been blister-prone. prone to injury (even after breaking in new shoes). I brought this and one other brand with me, and they were both fantastic. My only gripe is that if it isn't standing upright, it leaks easily. I put it in my suitcase (in a ziploc bag for extra security). That was a smart move on my part. ) and it quickly spread throughout the building.
When I switched from marathons to ultra marathons, it opened up a whole new world of possibilities. Favorite sources of energy were no longer effective. Once you get into the 30 mile range, your favorite shirts and shorts will chaff. Although I've discovered new fabrics and brands that work well for me, chaffing can still occur depending on the weather (rain or humidity). A bad chaff is the fastest way to drop out of an ultramarathon. I found 2Toms by accident and haven't looked back since. I've converted everyone in my running group to a believer. The 2Toms are on their way to the top of the league. on for general use or to cover the start of an event, then the individual packets to keep in a running vest and use as needed while out on the trail There was no chaff after a few 50-milers, 50-kilometer runs, 100-miler runs, and 100-kilometer runs. br>br>Give it a shot. You'll never use another product after this one. Advantages: br>br>
- The fact that it works is by far the greatest advantage. It's far superior to anything else.
- It is effective in all weather conditions, including rain, humidity, cold, and heat. br>- a small and compact packagebr>- The cost is reasonable in comparison to the benefitbr>br>Cons:
- It may sound strange, but I'd like a clear section of the bottle so you can see how much liquid is left inside. br>- It's a little slick. It may be difficult to hold a handheld water bottle without a strap if it gets on your hand. br>- Although it claims to work for a long time, I prefer to reapply on a regular basis. I might reapply every hour or two during an ultramarathon. If you use individual wipes, you can reapply without stopping during a walk break, then dispose of them at the next aid station if necessary.
This product is so good that when my first one ran out two years ago, I went back to buy another! This is the product you want if you're looking to get your thunder thighs like me. Without a doubt, this has altered my life. Short shorts were impossible for me to wear, so I always wore long shorts under dresses. Now I'm free to dress as I please! There is no rubbing, irritation, breakout, or rash! I've recommended this to a few friends, and they've all come back and thanked me because it's such a great product, I'm hoping they keep making it forever.
