I use newspaper delivery bags to keep sand contained, as far as I can remember. When sealing, keep the seal loosely so that the sand can move.

The material is pretty sturdy but the lining isn't actually There was a lot of sand leaking when I opened the box, and it still leaks now and then.
It all makes sense now. "Sand" is just thrown into the bags, and the bags are then sealed. Every time I move it, it leaks, and as a result it is completely useless. . . . . . this would have been a perfect sandbag if they had just done a little more- Various options could be used, including enclosing the sand in a plastic bag and then packaging it. In the attached photo, you can see what happens when the bag is sitting around and a slight bump causes it to bounce.
The dimensions need to be read In Shavasana you would lay a sandbag over your hips like they have in studios, but this is way shorter than you need. I cannot return it as it is too late. It makes me feel sad.

In one bag, the zipper broke after 10 days. The construction is poor. During normal use of the bag, one bag broke after 10 days. I think the prices are way too high. A cheaper alternative is to buy it. For $5, I found some sandbags at Walmart. The price per item is $10. 00.

The top of the box leaks sand. We have tried covering the material with duct tape, but it does not stick.
