Yes, the support is adequate, but there is a seam in the fabric exactly where you do not want one. If you're going to do a lot of moving, you're going to get a lot of chafing!
That was not the case with mine. Despite the fact that I used cool settings for both the wash and the dry. I almost wish they had, because this isn't the most "compressive" brand I've ever had.
These have a bad habit of riding up on me while I'm running. I strongly advise against it.
I'd wear these as a base layer with shorts on top.

Being a long-time Under Armour fan, these shorts had a lot to live up to. Support, fit, comfort, and long-term durability are all important factors to consider. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you Also, the price is fair. The waistband is extremely comfortable and well-fitting, and it keeps them in place nicely. The seams and stitching are neat and professional. After a few washes, it's still holding its color. The material has a different feel to it than Under Armour's Heat Wear. These shorts are just as good as the Under Armour shorts in my opinion. These shorts are a pleasure to wear every day for working out, or just general life. I gave these a try as an alternative to the more expensive Under Armour and happy to say that on these metrics of quality, fit, finish, material, stitching, and most importantly comfort, these shorts hit the mark. If you're looking for compression shorts, these are a great deal and good quality for the money; I bought three and plan to buy more. It is highly recommended.
They're comfortable, but they don't have any compression. I won't return it because it's not worth it, so I'll wear it as underwear, but it's completely useless for the intended purpose. br>br>Not only is the product mediocre at best, but the company is now harassing me (with dozens of emails) because of my review. First, the fact that Amazon shares our information with these companies is a bad thing, and it makes me less likely to use Amazon in the future. Second, in addition to their products, this company is terrible. You should avoid doing business with them because they are abusive harassers.
Almost every day, I go to the gym to lift weights, run on the treadmill, and do yoga. So far, the shorts have proven to be extremely useful. It provides adequate support, is lightweight, and dries quickly, but it does not feel overly restrictive. I like the shorts, and they're comparable to my Nike pro compression shorts in terms of fit and price; I'm 31" waisted, 5'9" tall, and weigh 168 pounds. I'm a small woman, so the small size is ideal. It is highly recommended that you wear them during your workout.
They appear to be well-made, with well-knit seams and material of adequate thickness. I didn't expect pockets on both sides, and they're deeper than I expected, which was nice; the photos show the phone sticking out, but my phone was securely tucked beneath the top of the pocket. The proportions were accurate. Because I have a 36" waist, I ordered an XL, which fits perfectly. There is no binding or squeezing at the waist or thighs, but the body is sufficiently snug.
They fit perfectly in all of the right places as soon as I put them on. br>br>However, I deducted a star because they don't compress as well as I'd like, fitting more like tight boxer briefs than compression shorts. So, if you want a tighter compression, I recommend going down a size. They perform admirably in terms of performance. br>br> The next day, I went out for a 6-mile run and they kept me dry and chafe-free. Would I suggest them? br>br> Yes.
There's a lot to like about these compression shorts. They are lightweight and comfortable, and they fit perfectly. They'll be suitable for a wide range of activities, in my opinion. The only disappointment is that they aren't quite as "compressive" as I had hoped. I bought the small size because I have a 30" waist and weigh around 130 lbs, and these are form-fitting for me. It's form-fitting and lightly compressive, which is ideal for some high-impact situations. I prefer a higher level of compression from shorts or shirts with a higher percentage of spandex in the material for high-intensity athletics. However, these will look great under surf shorts, in yoga, at home, as general underwear, and so on.
I've only had these for a short time and have no idea what they're supposed to do for my athletic performance. They're not particularly wise, but they're comfortable and stylish. They are appealing to me. The main thing that worries me about these types of 'compression' clothing is that some manufacturers make them feel like compression garments just to make them look like compression garments. Simply reduce the size to make them fit a skinny 12-year-old. year old. You can't even get them on, and even if you do, they're not comfortable. They're extremely tight and constrictive; in fact, you should order two sizes up. I needed a medium in this case; a medium was ordered; and these are a good match - as a means of communication If you're a little chunkier, there's even a slight stretch to them. So far - so good.
When I go running, I usually take my house keys and phone with me and carry them the entire time; when I saw that these had pockets, I was intrigued, but I was still skeptical that the pockets would be useful or that my belongings would bounce around uncomfortably in them. These compression shorts tick all of my boxes, which makes me happy. They have compression properties. y enough for me to run in, and the pockets are large enough to hold my keys and phone without bouncing around or causing me to be concerned that they will fall out. These are the ones I recommend.
