Questions & Answers

Is it possible to inform Amazon that these are tennis shoes rather than running shoes?

True

Is it possible for you to wear a brace on your ankle?

Yes, as long as you purchase a larger size, such as 1. 5 sizes larger than your current shoe size

Is this the regular version of FF2 or the clay version?

Because ASICS does not appear to list clay versions with the word "clay" at the end of the shoe's name, these are unlikely to be the clay version.

The best tennis shoes I've ever owned
5/5

I used to spend all of my time playing tennis. The shoes are fantastic. It's a little difficult to get your feet in because of the socks. This gives the impression that the shoes will be too tight at first. In fact, it's the most spacious pair of tennis shoes I've ever owned for the front part of my feet. It doesn't appear to be an Asics shoe at all: It's both secure and relaxing. EDIT: br>br> Make sure you get the correct size; any larger will cause the shoe to fold awkwardly, rendering it useless.

Take the time to read the reviews and make decisions based on them
3/5

I bought these shoes on Amazon and was immediately redirected to a third-party seller to complete the transaction. Midwest Express provided excellent service, as the shoes arrived ahead of schedule. In some cases, reviews suggested buying a half size smaller; others, of course, were a "perfect fit. " I'd never had a problem with cleats, running shoes, or trainers fitting properly before - When it comes to Asics, always order the correct size. I had high hopes for this shoe because of its stability, sock liner, and overall wearability. I knew these were tennis shoes, but I figured they'd be a good cross trainer for walking, rowing, and lifting weights. This is not a running shoe. Because the shoes had to have been on tarmacs and in UPS trucks/buildings since shipping the same day, the hard, durable rubber coating on the shoes was very cold. Despite the fact that they were stiff from the cold, I tried them on and found them to be comfortable, so I sat in them only on carpet. The reviews were accurate in that the shoes were a half size (at least) too big and had a narrow toe box. I was anticipating some sort of setback. I waited for the rubber to warm up and become more pliable in the house for another day or so. I could see how tennis players would appreciate the shoes in terms of stability and wear points once they were on again, but the full price of $165 is too much for me (I'm not sure why other colors of the same shoe were discounted nearly $30) - My feet did get used to them, but the size was off, and I ended up buying 25 pairs. 30 pairs of Asics and Mizuno shoes in all sizes (as well as some Brooks). I might buy them or something similar again in the future. I have some foot problems that necessitate comfort and stability, and I was hoping that this shoe would be the solution. Other shoes (like this one) have a difficult time putting on and taking off the sock liner - The advantages, however, outweigh the challenges of putting them on. The rigidity of the shoes, however, is required for high-performance use. I intend to keep looking. I can't believe I'm typing these words: 'Order a half size smaller. ' It was necessary for my high arch, traditional men's size 11 foot. It was almost as if I could go down to a size ten. Now, I returned the shoes to Midwest Sports (which I had never done before) because the Amazon website's return procedures indicated that I should. When I spoke with Midwest Sports customer service, they advised me to go back to Amazon. This should help me get a refund on my Amazon store card; note to self: go to the stores to try on clothes in the future. I made an effort to act like a modern shopper. It was a good lesson.

My feet are now in a lot of discomfort! The shoes are terrible
3/5

I ordered a size 9 but it was too big, so I exchanged it for a size 8. 5 and it's a little too narrow, but it's the right length. When I play tennis now, I don't seem to have as good of a balance as I used to, and pain begins after a few minutes. I'm not sure if I'll be able to return them at this time. These are not shoes I would recommend.

In the last 15 years, these have been the best shoes I've ever owned
5/5

I've been wearing adidas barricade for 15 years and once tried nike but didn't care for it. These have been replaced. Your foot slips into a soft, comfortable glove. I run down all of the balls, and the support is fantastic. Because the foot does not move very much, no toes are injured. I've never had a shoe like this before.

The best help I've ever received
5/5

These are the best tennis shoes I've ever bought in 20 years, and they're worth the extra money over other shoes, even ASICS. I'm 6'3", 200 pounds, and I move really well on the court; they're the best tennis shoes I've ever bought in 20 years, and they're worth the extra money over other shoes, even ASICS. I bought three pairs, which I had never done before. The ASICS lightweights wear out in a month if you play four times a week, and the Revolution 7 or 8 are fine. These are the best FFs I've ever seen. Babolat was a brand I'd never heard of before. Head or Prince, whichever is the worst - KSWISS - You're way too stiff. Adidas and Nike's toe boxes are too short for me, and their quality is slipping. These are the best tennis shoes I've ever owned.

The best tennis shoes I've ever owned
5/5

This is the third pair of tennis shoes in this style that I have purchased. They are extremely comfortable to wear. The single neoprene pocket that completely encases your foot is one of my favorite features. I've had multiple issues with foot pain and have ruptured one of my Achilles tendon's in the past, and I feel like this year provides a lot of support; my only complaint, which is a minor one, is that I've never been able to find it in a traditional color. I'm 60 years old and have owned three pairs of shoes so far: a green pair, a powder blue pair, and a bright red pair. I frequently wear blue shorts and a white shirt, which, of course, gives the impression that I'm trying to be all red, white, and blue.

Look great, but don't fit or feel as well as I'd hoped, especially for the price; these appear to run about a half size too big vs
3/5

I've been playing in Adidas pairs for quite some time now. In comparison to my 8s, which fit like an 8 1/2 or even a 9, my 9s fit like an 8 1/2 or even a 9. I've played in a variety of other brands of shoes before. Adidas is the most common example. Despite tying my shoes pretty tightly, I've stepped out of them three times now during a point. I've been wearing "8s" for the majority of my adult life, and I'm 48 years old. For an athletic fit, my pair is very large. br>br>I'm a hardcourt player who plays on two courts. Once a week, twice a week, and once a month, respectively. On the hardcourts, these are causing me shin pain. I've been playing in these light Adidas pairs for the past five years. I'm afraid I'll have to go back to those; I bought them because they look great and the college kids with whom I play have raved about them. Maybe they're fine for younger legs, but I'm in decent shape for a 48-year-old and shouldn't get sore shins from shoes.

A Fantastic Shoe
5/5

The fit and cushioning are excellent. There's a lot of room in the toe box, but your foot is perfectly secure. The "mono-sock" is a little difficult to get on at first if you have a high arch, but it gets easier with time, and it breathes well. , which is a significant improvement over Gel Resolution 7. This shoe has made me very happy.
