I had no idea they were the Heeleys, for which you have to take the wheels in and out. I assumed they were the ones that could be popped out when rolling and snapped back in when walking in shoes. There will only be one set of wheels.
These shoes are a ten out of ten for me. I'm a 17-year-old girl, and they fit perfectly. They take some practice to master, but they're a lot of fun:.
I was concerned that they were too tight, but she assured me that they didn't hurt or bother her in the least. She usually wears a 3 in shoe, but 3 in sandals are still a little big on her, if that's of any help to anyone with a child who has an in-between size foot. They're tough and comfortable, so much so that I bought a pair in a big kids 8, women's 9, and they fit perfectly. I'm 5 feet and a half inches tall. They can get hot and make your feet sweat, but they're still comfortable, and I'm around 170 pounds and 5'6 inches tall, and the wheels don't buckle and hold up well!.
They are well made and fit true to size. The material is durable and of excellent quality. Simply remove the protective cover on the bottom of the shoe and snap the wheel into place to get these ready to ride. Sure, your child will fall over, but they'll catch on quickly and the rest of the way will be smooth sailing.
These Heelys are fantastic! These were purchased for my 8-year-old son's birthday after he saw them on a Netflix show. It turned out that it wasn't as simple as the kid made it appear. So we read the instructions, and three days later he's riding like a pro! He now enjoys shopping with me and holds on to the cart for a free ride, and I will continue to purchase these for him as his feet grow larger.
I'm an eight-year-old girl who wears a size eight shoe. Because this is based on men's sizes, I ordered a size 8 in women's. They are fantastic! It's difficult to walk in with the wheels in; I don't recall this being an issue in 2006, but I was probably too preoccupied with them to notice. Apart from that, I absolutely adore them.
These are a big hit with my son. My son was able to self-assembly the steering wheel. I like that if he wants to wear them to school, he can simply remove the wheel and replace the cover. The shoes are fantastic.
We received these today, and they are fantastic! They are a big hit with my son! They fit perfectly, look fantastic, and perform as expected (wheels). When it comes to actually using the wheels, there is a learning curve, and they do not walk like regular shoes. My son, on the other hand, is a big fan.
