Questions & Answers
There are three points of contact on the Tanner Heavy, and it is longer than a square flat base. On a raised throw down home plate, it sits flat on a flat surface with a slight lean. Whereas a square, shorter base would have more lean or wobble, the heavy tee has more weight and a longer design, resulting in a slight lean on the surface but no wobble.
Thank you for taking the time to look at Tanner Tees baseball products, particularly our heavy model batting tee, Richard. The Tanner Heavy has a 26-foot range. Adult size, 43 inches; this is the size we recommend for children ages nine and up, and it's the same size that our professional adult athletes buy. There's a lot more information about the product, including ranges and how it works, if you scroll down from the top of the page. Thank you very much! Tanner Tees has a guy named Andy.
It's difficult to say without knowing their height, but I'm going to guess and say no, they're not overly tall. Take a measurement from the ground to the waist of the child and compare it to the tee's lowest height. You should be fine as long as the lowest tee height isn't more than 6" higher than your waist.
Hello, we don't have those models available on Amazon at the moment. This could change, but no time frame has been set.

I coach a number of year-round baseball teams in rec leagues, as well as Little League tournaments. Our children train throughout the year - In the off-season, batting practice is held twice a week. I hit more balls off of tees and watch more swings than the average golfer. br>br>I've worn a variety of tees, including the Tanner's original. The heavy Tanner is, without a doubt, the best I've ever used. Great for grass outfield warmups before games as well as smooth surfaces during indoor practice. br>br> I weighed this one against all the others on the market and considered buying a shorter one from another company as well as Tanner's junior. My youngest child is seven years old and stands at a height of 48 inches. He and the older children up to the age of 12U use it. Adults are welcome to use it as well. br>br>If portability is a concern, don't be concerned. It disassembles in 20 seconds and lays flat for transportation; no additional weights are required, and the screw-free design allows for easy transportation. It's not a problem if you're in the middle of a column. It only takes a few minutes. br>There's no need for gimmicky magnets or other gimmicks. br>br>Best tee I've ever seen or worn. The few extra dollars are well spent. This thing is built to last a lifetime and will never fall over. The design is fantastic.
"Why should we change now that we've done it this way for 50 years?" "br>br>This isn't one of those items. This is a modern design that looks brand new from the ground up, and it ignores the Tees of the past. It has a lot of weight in the base, but it's still small and portable, and it can withstand a lot of abuse. Metal, to be precise. The ball is not centered over the plate because it is not attached to a home plate. So, instead of expecting everything to be perfectly down the middle, you can put a separate plate down and have kids work on pitches inside or outside, and they can actually visualize it. br>br>All in all, a fantastic take on a batting tee.
It genuinely fulfills your requirements. It doesn't go quite low enough to practice hitting right at the bottom of the strike zone, like other tees with the "waffle cone" rubber tee top. It does, however, fall below the level of some of the others. Very sturdy, stays upright, and the top of the tee has a durable and flexible rubber cone that allows for a good clean hit. I took a few swings at the Franklin hard rubber tee that my kids had - the basic t-shirt - After about 100 hits, the tee's top was completely destroyed. I've done hundreds of these and they still look brand new. br>br>All right, let's get started. It fulfills your requirements. It's an excellent piece of gear.
We've used a lot of tees as a travel baseball parent for a variety of reasons. This is the best tee we've ever used, and it's ideal for batting practice; I've even seen professional teams and players using it in Florida. Simply put, this is the best tee available.
I bought this model because my son likes to practice hitting in the grass. The base is ideal for uneven surfaces because it does not move. He's broken every tee he's ever had, regardless of how heavy the rubber is. This one has a brilliant design. I had probably paid for one in the replacement of all the sub-systems, so it was well worth the money. I had previously purchased par tees.
There isn't a better baseball tee on the market. It gets a lot of use from my high school son and holds up well. Don't hesitate to buy.
My daughter averages about 100 balls per day and has gone through three sets of tees so far this year. Finally, I gave in and purchased a tanner tee, which will serve her well for many years.
My most recent purchase was made when the company first began selling these. It's still with me, and it's in fantastic shape. This one was purchased because the previous one had become too small. The one with a lot of weight is the best option. The same amount of space is available, but it is never knocked over. Having to pick it up every time a small child knocks it over becomes extremely inconvenient.
