Questions & Answers

Is the Jugs tee durable enough to be used on grass without tipping over?

Yes, I took it out on the grass outfield and pounded softballs for nearly two hours. T was once knocked out. That was due to the fact that I had gotten almost halfway down the rubber tip, which is about five or six inches long. With any reasonable swing, you'd have a difficult time knocking it over. When I knocked it over, I was swinging lefty, despite the fact that I'm a right-handed batter. On that one lefty swing, I was a little woozy.

Is it possible to store this tee in two pieces?

Yes, it is.

Is it possible for an adult to wear this tee?

Yes. This tee is tough enough to take a thrashing from an adult.

Has rust on the tee been addressed as a source of negative feedback on this and other baseball sites?

This is the second year I've worn this shirt. There is no rust, and all of the girls prefer it to the traditional all-rubber tee.

The most outstanding tee - PERIOD
5/5

The New JUGS T is the subject of this review. br>br>I coach a 14U fastpitch team that includes my daughter, and my son is a high school baseball player. I've tried almost every type of tee on the market, and the majority of them either break after a year or two of use, or they tip over too easily. This is where I believe the buck stops. br>I really like this tee! This tee is worn almost daily by my son and daughter, as well as by my travel softball team. It can withstand a lot of abuse and still look great. I'm guessing it's had 6,000 or more swings so far, and it's only tipped once (due to a player hitting the shaft in the middle - slipped the bat). br>I like how this tee can be adjusted from 23" to 46" in height, allowing you to wear it in almost any situation. br>The shaft unscrews and separates from the base, allowing you to store it in a wheeled bat bag with your gear or a bownet, powernet, or rukket net bag (with the net itself in there as well). br>The base is weighted (approximately 8 lbs) and the overall weight is about 10 lbs for excellent stability. A built-in carry handle is also included in the base. br>In terms of overall quality, I'd compare it to the original Tanner Tee, except that this one doesn't require a weighted bag to keep it upright. br>I would strongly advise any coach at any level to purchase this shirt. Period! It comes with a one-year warranty!.

It does not sway

grassland The best thing about the Jugs tee is that it comes in a variety of colors. On bermuda grass, artificial turf, or the little orange things/dirt on a baseball field, it will not wobble, move forward, or fall down. My son can disassemble the tee by unscrewing the blue pole and storing the pole portion in his batting bag on the side where a bat can go. within his batting bag's weighted section He also takes it to baseball practice with him. (It's a cinch) QUICKLY, because he isn't the type of kid who will waste time fiddling with something that takes a long time to figure out). The stand can also be transported to the field by simply sitting upright in the SUV. br>br>On Bermuda grass, the black metal base is very stable and not too thick. out in the country yard (some areas of our yard are not level) On our property, our son can hit the ball as far as he wants, so he'll be hitting the Jugs stand hard to see how far he can go. It's also a good idea to carry it with the built-in handle on the base. br>br>July 2019 Update: Now that my son is sixteen years old, I'd like to share with you some information about him. This tstand has been going strong for quite some time now. We had to order a new black cone after two years because it had received a 2. I guess hitting baseballs so much resulted in a 5 inch tear that started peeling like a banana. The replacement part cost $30 plus $10 shipping tax for a total of $42 for UPS delivery, but it comes with a new one-year warranty. The cone isn't the only thing that needs to be replaced. Because it's all one piece, it's the entire pole and cone. I ordered a replacement part from Jugs' website, but I originally purchased the tee from Amazon in July 2017. I added a couple of low/high range pictures so that families could see them. This device is frequently used by my son. To purchase this, I just need to fill in the information for new baseball parents. We could have used this a long time ago. Original review: br>br> br>14 years old 5' 10" tall son It's used for batting practice at home by a 145-pound player. We've always had a traditional black tstand, which came in a variety of brands. The six-year-old child of one of our friends Our 8-year-old son (who is very small for his age) can also bat off our Jugs tee, making it ideal for a family with players of various sizes. br>br>December 2018 Update- This tstand is well worth the money! After seeing and using ours, a friend purchased one as well. Theirs is still going strong as well! br>br>It also works for my husband. He stands at a height of six feet. 200 lbs. , tall The Jugs are also capable of handling his hard hits. Dads are both Our son has the ability to hit it over the top of the fence. We have land, so they'll hit it over the fence if I say so. They're ripping it off the tstand like crazy, so it's holding up pretty well and looks just like the day I bought it. It's been over a year and has seen a lot of use, but it's still in great shape. This summer, my son was a member of a high school team. He's still hitting off the Jugs t-shirt in the fall. So they don't outgrow it, put it up on a stand. It was well worth the money! br>br>Recent changes: br>br> June of this year- So, like a banana, the stand black part/cone began to peel. It's somewhere between a 2 and a 3 on the scale. a tear of 5 inches My husband made it out of tape, but I'll see if I can find a replacement head or at the very least black tape. My husband and son, on the other hand, have put it to good use. Nonetheless, it was well worth the effort. The base and pole are still in good shape, and there are no problems in those areas. In July of this year, To get the part, which is just a torn cone about 2 inches in diameter, I googled it and called Jugs. 5 inches in length The black cone with the pole is attached to the replacement part, which is a single solid piece. At Jugs, I was greeted by a live person who transferred me to another live person who took my order. You can order online as well, but since I bought ours in 2017, I wanted to be sure. The total cost is $30, plus $10 for shipping and tax, for a total of $42. 00 UPS delivery of a single black cone to replace the one that is permanently attached to the pole. It comes with a one-year warranty against tearing, and if it does, the guy said, they'll send you a new one; so, yeah, the replacement is a bit pricey, but my son enjoys using it and uses it twice daily during the summer and as much as possible during the school year, so it's worth it. Because the tstand does not wobble, it is well worth it. fall to the ground. We've had it for two years, and he's 16 years old now. This t-stand can take a beating! Well- The new part arrived quickly and was attached to the existing product. My son can do it without difficulty.

It's the ideal way to get those cuts in!   We were looking for more training tools for my husband, who plays both military and civilian softball
5/5

I knew this was the one to get after comparing reviews on this and other Amazon books. br>br>This has improved his game because he no longer requires a partner to pitch to him; all he requires is an empty field. He had a cheap one before, and the T was cracked in the middle. This is made of a flexible material that keeps the ball in place while not interfering with the hit, as some cheaper ones do. br>br>We like how it's adjustable so that even our two-year-old can use it. It's a solid piece that appears to be of high quality.

What you pay for is exactly what you get
5/5

5 star! It's well-made. A type of air piston is used to adjust it. For small children, such as 5-year-olds, it does not adjust low enough. My 12-year-old son was working on low and inside, but he couldn't get it low enough. The top of the ball, where you sit it, is made of thick rubber. If it wears out in the future, I'm sure you'll be able to replace it. My only concern, given how well it's made, is that in ten years it won't be as good as it is now. If I pass it on for another 15 years, the "O" rings may wear out. My friend, on the other hand, purchased a less expensive model for $59. The first day, I was unable to complete the task.

This is a fantastic t-shirt
5/5

As my son grew older and became more serious about baseball, it became necessary to invest in a high-quality tee that could withstand some punishment. I couldn't make up my mind between this and the Jugs tee, so the owner of the batting cages where we go recommended this one. It's a little heavy, but it doesn't fall over. I didn't want a tee that required barbell weights to be weighed down, and this one fits the bill. The ball stays nicely on the tee and it is very easy to adjust; it appears to be a little pricey, but I was used to the cheap beginner tees you can get at Walmart or Target. Once we received it, it was clear that you get what you pay for. My son is eight years old, but I expect this one to last a long time, and we are pleased with our purchase.

Rubber scuffs are left all over the place
3/5

I bought it because it was a little less expensive than a Tanner Tee, and everyone else in the league was wearing one. This is more substantial, but it does not last; after a few weeks, the rubber began to wear away. The ball now turns black every time you place it on it. The carrying base is in the same boat. It leaves a black streak on your leg if it rubs against it. You can only carry it by the stem, and you must be careful not to let it come into contact with your body. It's a real pain in the neck. In addition, after a few uses, the rubber gaskets between the shafts deteriorate and fall apart.
